Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Jim Beckett, RE/MAX,

for his exceptional service to the real estate industry.

To be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award a REALTOR® must have at least 25

years in the REALTOR® organization and have demonstrated professionalism

throughout their career. They have demonstrated expertise thru continuing

education, designations, participation in the REALTOR® Associations’ activities and

political interests at the local, state and national level.

This years recipient was licensed in 1970. He worked for Nob Hill Realty, Aumiller Cahoonand then Dick Jarms before starting his own

company.In his Real Estate Career he has served in

almost every capacity. YAR President, State Director, too many committees to mention, board member and MLS Chairman. He is

one of the very few members to have received the “Realtor of the Year” award twice. Once

in 1980 and again in 2007.Throughout his career he has earned the ABR, CRS and CRB designations. A long

time supporter of RPAC, having received the Sterling R status multiple years!He has been very active in our

community. He served for 8 years as a Director of the American Bowling Congress and that is when I first met him. We bowled in a mixed doubles league in the 70’s! He is a member of the Downtown Rotary, Yakima Tennis Club and has spent many years as

Chairman of the board for Triumph Treatment Services.

I am very honored to present this award to Jim Beckett.

his exceptional contributions to the real

estate industry.

REALTOR® Achievement Award are presented to a broker who

demonstrates their professionalism and continuous involvement in the

REALTOR® Association’s activities including REALTOR® political

interests, and has made a commitment to their continuing education

while achieving an active real estate business.

REALTOR® of the Year must demonstrate involvement in the

REALTOR® Association in civic, community or business affairs

and must exhibit a commitment to education, professionalism

and ethical business practices.
