About UsThe 32BJ Training Fund is a joint labor- management partnership that offers training to eligible participants at no cost. The Fund is supported by contributions negotiated between 32BJ SEIU and participating employers. Our mission is to train every participant to grow to the next level. We want to continually raise standards by providing 32BJ members with the tools they need to meet the challenges of a changing industry. At the 32BJ Training Fund, everything we do supports the goal of making it possible for members to get the education, training, and skills they need to grow in the quickly changing property services world.

How can I take classes if it’s not safe for Training Fund facilities to open this Fall?We expect to be able to make a deci-sion regarding reopening for the fall trimester soon. If government adviso-ries determine that it is not safe for our classroom facilities to open, we will offer courses in a variety of ways:

Any course with this icon will be offered fully remotely. Even when we reopen, some remote sessions will be available permanently.

A course with this icon is always available to be taken online at your own pace.

Some courses will take place partially via remote learning, or require us to obtain approval from a third party to run (FDNY, OSHA, 8-Hour Annual). We will contact you with details via text or email before your session begins.

Prerequisite(s): Plumbing Basics & Electricity Basics (Test out available)Prepare to fix refrigerators and window units by understanding fundamental refrigeration theories and principles. Develop soldering and brazing skills essential to air condition-ing repairs. Must have appropriate reading level, high school diploma or its equivalent.
