    Block Assembly1. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A square. Trim the unit to measure 9 ½” square to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (15) Unit 1 squares total.

    2. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the right side of (1) Unit 1 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the bottom of the Unit 1 square to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 2). Repeat to make (9) Block One squares total.

    3. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the left side of (1) Unit 1 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the top of the Unit 1 square to make (1) Block Two square (Fig. 3). Repeat to make (6) Block One squares total.

    Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)12. Sew (1) Block One square (1) Block Three square, (1) Block One square, (1) Block Four square and (1) Block One square together in that order to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Five.

    13. Sew (1) Block Five square (1) Block Two square, (1) Block Six square, (1) Block Two square and (1) Block Five square together in that order to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Six.

    14. Sew (1) Block One square (1) Block Four square, (1) Block One square, (1) Block Three square and (1) Block One square together in that order to make Row Three.

    15. Sew (1) Block Six square (1) Block Two square, (1) Block Five square, (1) Block Two square and (1) Block Six square together in that order to make Row Four.

    16. Sew the (6) Rows together, in numerical, order to make the Center Block.

    17. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 66 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 59 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

    18. Sew (1) 2” x 70 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 62 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

    19. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 73 ½” Fabric I strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” Fabric J square to each end of (1) 5 ½” x 62 ½” Fabric I strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

    20. Layer and quilt as desired.

    21. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric K strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

    4. Sew (1) 2” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” Fabric C square. Sew (1) 2” x 9 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric C square to make (1) Unit 2 square (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (3) Unit 2 squares total.

    6. Sew (1) 2” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” Fabric G square. Sew (1) 2” x 9 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric G square to make (1) Unit 3 square (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (3) Unit 3 squares total.

    8. Sew (1) 2” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” Fabric E square. Sew (1) 2” x 9 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric E square to make (1) Unit 4 square (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (5) Unit 4 squares total.

    5. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the right side of (1) Unit 2 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the top of the Unit 2 square to make (1) Block Three square (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (3) Block Three squares total.

    7. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the right side of (1) Unit 3 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the top of the Unit 3 square to make (1) Block Four square (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (3) Block Four squares total.

    11. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the left side of (1) Unit 5 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the bottom of the Unit 5 square to make (1) Block Six square (Fig. 11). Repeat to make (4) Block Six squares total.

    9. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric H strip to the left side of (1) Unit 4 square. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric H strip to the bottom of the Unit 4 square to make (1) Block Five square (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (5) Block Five squares total.

    10. Sew (1) 2” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” Fabric F square. Sew (1) 2” x 9 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric F square to make (1) Unit 5 square (Fig. 10). Repeat to make (4) Unit 5 squares total.
