Present continuous: usamos para expressar uma situação que está em progresso, ou seja, uma ação que ainda está acontecendo.

We form by using: Subject + verb to be + verb (ing) + complement Megg is sweeping the porch. (sweep - varrer) She is feeding her dog. (feed - alimentar)

When the verbs end with E we take and add ING.

You are dancing. (dance)

Negative form: in the negative form we add NOT after the verb to be.

Megg is sweeping the porch. Megg is not sweeping the porch.She is feeding the dog. She is not feeding the dog.They are cooking lasagna. They are not cooking lasagna.

Interrogative form: in the interrogative form we invert the subject and the verb to be.

Is Megg sweeping the porch?Are they cooking lasagna?
