Mr Chandra Babu naidu was in office and he is being the distinction of serving highest days in office as

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh i.e 3378 days(1st September 1995 to 14 th May 2004)

In congress party Mr Kasu Bramananda Reddy was in office and he is being the second highest days in

Office being 2777 days.(21st February 1964 to 30 th September 1971)

The third again Mr N T Rama rao garu was in office the total number of days he has served the state of

Andhra Pradesh as chief Minister is 2751 days.( 9 th January 1983 to 16 th August 1984 : 585 DaYS)(16

TH Sep 1984 to 2 nd December 1989 : 1903 Days) ( 12 th December 1994 to 1 September 1995 : 263

Days)

Mr Jalagam Vengal Rao garu served the state complete five years and he is from Congress Party (10 th

December 1973 to 6 th March 1978 for complete one Term)

It is interesting to note that from 6 th march 1978 to 1983 January 9th we can witness 4 Chief Ministers.

The point I am making here is there is a constant change of Chief ministers by the High Command and It

Shows congress Leaders has less unity in Andhra Pradesh among the members during this period.

Sl nO Name of the Chief Minister(Party Congress) Period (1978 to 1983)

1 Mr Marri chenna Reddy 6th March 1978 to 11 oct 1980 2 Mr T Anjaiah 11 Oct 1980 to 24 th February 1982

3 Mr Bhavanam Venkar Ram 24 th February 1982 to 20 th September 1982 4 Mr Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy 20 th September 1982 to 9 th January 1983

The Telugu Dessham party stormed to power within nine months of its formation in the 1983 Assembly

elections, thus forming the first non-Congress government in Andhra Pradesh.

It also achieved the rare distinction of being the first regional party to become the main opposition party

in the Central Government during the 8th Lok Sabha from 1984 to 1989. The party has governed the

state of Andhra Pradesh twice from 1983 to 1989 and then from 1994 to 2004.

Sl.No Name of the Chief Minister ( Party TDP)

Period 1983 to 1989

1 Mr N T Rama Rao 9 th January to 16 th August 1984 2 Mr Nadendla Bhasker Rao 16 th August 1984 to 16 th September 1984

3 Mr N T Rama Rao 16 th September 1984 to 2 nd December 1989 Again The Congress was in Power from 3 rd December 1989 to 12 th December 1994 again we can see

three Chief Minister’s Ruled the State and the Same has repeated as it was in the year 1978 to 1983

again the same issue of Leadership

Sl.No Name of the Chief Minister(Party Congress) Period 1989 to 1994

1 Mr Marri Chenna Reddy 3 rd December to 17 th December 1990 2 Mr N janardhan Reddy 17 th December to 9 th October 1992

3 Mr Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy 9 th Oct 1992 to 12 th December 1994 From the Year 12 th December 1994 to 14 th May 2004 and it was Telugu Desham Party i.e 9 years 3

months and 2 days

Page 2: A Comparision Between TDP and Congress Chief Minsters

Sl.No Name of the Chief Minister ( Party TDP)

Period 1994 to 2004

1 Mr N T Ra ma Rao 12 th December 1994 to 1 September 1995

2 Mr Nara Chandra Babu Naidu 1 September 1995 to 14 th May 2004

The TDP has defeated by the Congress party and Mr Rajashekar Reddy was elected as Chief Minister Of

Andhra Pradesh for Complete 5 Years and 2nd term also he has defeated the Telugu Desham Party.

So peeping into what the CMs did to our state, the former leaders tried for state's minimum

development.

Later some of them tried for development of some fields like Education, irrigation projects, science and

technical, etc.Vengala Rao worked against naxalism and development of tribal’s,

NTR has given main emphasis to secure basic necessities and Better administration

while Babu worked more for IT sector and a very good administrator and TD has more discipline in their

party than the congress and

YSR tried for many areas including farmers' development, health, Indiramma illu, scholarships etc.

In all these ministers NTR , Nara Chandra babu and YSR were considered as the best when compared to

others. We have to Establish Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy Performance and It was a tough time for him to

bring the cordial relations among the three regions leaders

These are My personal Observations and I may be wrong on certain issues but I am confident that I have

compiled the Correct Information Only. It give a check

Nara Chandra Babu YSR Administration Excellent good

Corruption Less Un believable extent It Excellent Not Much

Farmer’s Issues average Excellent Welfare programmes less More

Connectivity to rural areas Given Priorities Less priority

Ring Roads and Outer Ring roads Conceptualized by him Implemented Long Term Irrigation Projects Not Much Many

Accountability to voter more average Discipline in the party Excellent Till he was in power , he could

able to control the party later we know what happened

Arogya Sri -No special programme Very Popular programme Free seats in engineering colleges to bc/sc’s and sts

-No Attracted by all the bc ‘s and weaker sections

Allegations Not Proved Proved Monsoons in their tenure Average/Drought Years Excellent

Deliberation of power to cabinet ministers

Very Good and every one was responsible

Single Man and taken the credit of their Cabinet ministers

Temperament Not Cool Cool

Page 3: A Comparision Between TDP and Congress Chief Minsters

Finally I would like to Say That By the above facts it indicates:

The Congress Government Constantly changes the Ministers.

After Mr NCBN, Mr Rajashekar Reddy as CM and we came to know most of the his cabinet members

are facing the CBI and Some of them are in Jail and It shows clearly that they were corrupt and they have

ruined the state.

How can the National Congress Party Strengthen the Party in Andhra Pradesh and they have not

resolved the Issue of Telangana and Keep on Postponing the Issue considerably and It Looks the Telugu

Desham is on Upper Hand But they are unable to cash the issues.

One Advantage they have that Mr Nara Chandra Babu Naidu toured entire state of Andhra Pradesh and

He is being the Longest days spent in three regions of Andhra Pradesh and travelled longest kilometers

than any other political leader and He has an edge over others but he has to plan and organize and

execute while selecting the Proper and probable candidates and who has more following in that

constituency should be given top priority.

No doubt that Mt Nara Chandra Babu naidu is known for the Organizing the capabilities and he was

main backbone when NT Rama rao was in Power and he has planned entire administration and how

come he has lost his confidence levels now……

Mr YSR Party is being attracted by youth and the young generation and I talked cross section of people

in three regions they say that Mr YSR will be the best option for them and it looks to surprise to

everyone. We cannot under estimate YSR Party and finally they are going to join the Congress party

only.

In Telanagan regions the TRS will be an upper hand than the Telugu Deshem party and Congress will

stand third position in telangana districts. In Coastal Andhra And rayalasemma their will be tough fight

between TDP vs YSR and Congress. The BJP will improve their position considerably in telangana region.

The General Public in general or not worried about how much assets one has acquired and they are

least bothered about them and what they worry about the welfare programmes and free supply of

electricity , wavier of crop loans , arogyasri , Free education for Bc’s, Sc and Stc and Availability of

Subsidy seed and pesticides. They are looking for the better price in their local markets. The Voter is not

looking for the long term benefits and he is uanable to judge the right pary and the Right candidate. The

Voter is very intelligent and he know whom to vote finally.. and to win the voter’s confidence is a big

question mark to all the political parties…..

How Long the Political parties for the sake of power they introduce such welfare programmes and and

one hand they are giving lots of welfare programmes and on the other hand the people are becoming

lethargic and they lost their perspective vision and they are depending totally on these welfare

programmes.

Page 4: A Comparision Between TDP and Congress Chief Minsters

They should sustain themselves and they should be more independent and able to generate their own

resources as Mr Gandhi was particular about Cottage and small scale and house hold industries and

every village should be self sufficient and we have seen one village in Nizamabad district of telangana

region that they are self sufficient in all aspects and their model should be implemented in other

villages as well then only we will have ( the True Leader) will have lots of satisfaction
