3 COMMON CONDITIONS CHIROPRACTORS HELP
Chiropractors are capable of treating all types of injuries and more importantly, they recognize and
respect the unique situation that each case presents. Chiropractors recognize that car accident injuries
may result in symptoms suffered weeks (or even months) after your accident, and that work injuries
demand a thorough examination of work station setup or ergonomically appropriate equipment. For any
injury sustained, the holistic core of chiropractors lies in treating the whole person.
Here are 3 common conditions chiropractors can help with:
BACK INJURIESMore than 80% of men and women will suffer from lower back pain. Chiropractors are highly skilled and
successful in the treatment and management of all back conditions. Many differing tissues can generate
lower back pain, but research has shown that the exact tissues causing back pain cannot be specifically
identified in up to 80% of individuals and many family doctors lack sufficient adequate training in back
pain.
The cost of lower back pain through medical care and lost productivity is astronomical. It is the number
one cause for disability and workers' compensation claims ($50 billion) annually in North America.
Chiropractors can potentially resolve a lot of this back pain with proper rehabilitation and a multi-faceted
plan.
NECK INJURIESNeck pain is also a severe affliction for many people. The neck is a delicate structure containing myriad
pain sensitive areas that are easily damaged. It’s hard to maintain proper posture in today’s workplace;
prolonged sitting and a lack of monitored and controlled stretching can lead to severe neck issues. A
qualified Chiropractor can assess and treat neck problems you may have and help get you back on track.
SPORTS INJURIESIn regards to sports injuries chiropractic care is second to none. If you’ve ever had a sports injury you
know the majority are soft tissue related accidents or body mechanics related. Chiropractors are the go
to doctors if you are a weekend warrior quarterback or a professional athlete.
Chiropractors believe that it’s not only about pain relief, it’s about the underlying causes which may
include:
•Muscular imbalances
•Biomechanical deficiencies
•Improper techniques
•Improper conditioning

Don’t see your points listed? Then you didn’t write down your finishtime on the clipboard at the club canopy after the race. Because of the foul weather at the Turkey Trot all 5k and some 10k runners didn’t get an official time. That’s why it’s important to always time yourself during a race. Send your finish times to: [email protected] whether or not you wore the Club uniform. And if you’ve never submitted Club race times before add your date of birth so the age graded Snail’s Cup points can be calculated.

December/January Highlights
Group celebration at Brea's annual holiday party.
Oscar and Ricarda enjoy the festivities!
Mel and Cuddles look dashing, of course.
NOT SO FASTby Bob Franz, father of Brea Snail Randy
There is a club in Brea that has been around for a number of yearsThey are a close knit group, some might call them the Brea Musketeers.
But riding horseback is quite far from what they do,They do a lot of running whether the sky is gray or blue.
There is no further clue, so let's cut to the chase,This convivial group calls themselves "A Snail's Pace."
Their nightly runs average 5 to 6 miles, does that sound like a lot?Yes, the "Snails" are serious runners, "dog-trotters" they are not.
They can be seen in north Orange County four nights a week,It's a serious physical workout, definitely not one for the meek.
They also run on Saturday morning starting one hour past six.Although they run quietly, I think they wake up the chicks.
The "Snails" number about 50 who show up to run,No matter how many show up, they seem to have lots of fun.
Their membership consists of equal numbers of females and malesAnd they all run together through the local hills and dales.
Members range in age from the 20's to four score and a little more.To be exact, the eldest member of the club is a frisky eighty-four.
That's the end of my story, hope you enjoyed it a little,Better move fast before your bones become more brittle.
Snails work the hills in Fullerton to start 2020.
