BACKGROUND INFORMATION A.C.A. § 6-13-635 requires all public schools to approve a resolution for employees that receive a 5% increase or more in salary from the previous year. List is attached. ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION Approve the resolution as presented.

RESOLUTION OF GREENBRIER SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

WHEREAS, the Greenbrier School District Board of Directors met in an open and properly-called meeting on September 8, 2015 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. WHEREAS, a quorum was declared by the chair; WHEREAS, the superintendent has identified all changes from last school-year’s published salary schedule, and has identified and presented the Board of Directors with each employee’s salary increase of 5% or more as required under A.C.A. § 6-13-635 and created a spreadsheet explaining each; Therefore, the Greenbrier School District Board of Directors approves and resolves that the spreadsheet including those explanations is a factual representation of the raises given for the 2014-15 school year. ______________________________ ____________________________ Board President Board Secretary ______________________________ ____________________________ Date Date

BACKGROUND INFORMATION In accordance with Act 1599 of 2001, several employees have completed contract disclosure forms indicating that they have family members that have done business with the District in the past and may be in the position to do business with the District in the future. These resolutions, if approved, accomplish two things. First, they meet the requirements of Act 1599 regarding full disclosure, Second, they authorize District officials, if the need arises, to do business with the persons up to an established dollar amount.
