Hello,my name is Agostino Ridone, I was born in Florence in 1990. Since 2009 I’ve been working as calligrapher for several fashion companies shows and events, like Pitti Immagine, Valentino, Car-ven, Diesel, Barbara Casasola, 21 and others, handwriting invitations, folders and placeholders. I work between Florence, Milan and Turin. In here I’d like to show you a few sample of my skills. Enjoy!

Lettering for Valentino, 2011

I’m mastering in classical European lettering style, studying and reproducing Italian Reinassance calligra-phy, English Chancery style and Baroque scripts.

I’m also fond Modern cal-ligraphy and lettering. I try to fuse handwritten let-tering with digital Graphic Design.

Last but not least, I love arabic calligraphic art. I study and practice the main styles, trying to catch the deepness of the tradition.
