CLK Air-cooled chiller has adopted high-quality compressor, so it is very safe and noiseless, economical in power and durable. air-cooled water chillers are complete, self-contained automatic refrigerating units that include the latest in engineering components arranged to provide a compact and efficient unit. Each unit is completely assembled; factory wired, evacuated, charged, tested and comes complete and ready for installation. Each unit consists of multiple air-cooled condensers with integral sub-cooler sections, one or more accessible screw compressors, star-delta starters, flooded type shell-and-tube evaporator, and complete refrigerant piping. Liquid line components included are manual liquid line shutoff valves, charging valves, filter-driers, liquid line solenoid valves, sight glass/moisture indicators, and electronic expansion valves.

From an energy efficiency point-of-view the heat exchanger is approximately 10% more efficient than a traditional coil and allows a 30% reduction in the amount of refrigerant used in the chiller.

Higher efficiency heat exchangers coupled with variable speed operation and smart controls elevate the system efficiency to a whole new level. It brings flexible space-saving installation - compact units that can be fitted either horizontally or vertically.

The unit is controlled by micro process controller with has the automatic control functions of fault diagnosis, energy management and anti-freezing monitoring ensure the high efficiency operation and more convenient in use. CLK air-cooled screw chillers are equipped with a microprocessor controller with unsurpassed features capable of managing the unit performance for optimum efficiency at both full load and part load values.

R-134a Environment friendly refrigerants

Refrigerant of the HFC R134a group with zero ozone depletion potential. it is evvironmentally safe and does not have a phase-out date. R134a is a single hydrofluorocarbon or HFC compound. and No chlorine content, no ozone depletion potential, ODP = 0. R134a is safe to use, as it is uninflammable, non-explosive, non-toxic, nonirritant and non-corrosive. Compared with R12, R134a has better heat conductivity. This greatly reduces the consumption of refrigerant. The acid content of R134a refrigerant is less than 0.00001%, and the residue on evaporation is lower than 0.01%. CLK can adopt another refrigerant if client Requests.

Globally recognized high performance/efficiency Semi Hermetic Screw Type compressor is adopted. Adopting the advanced screw compressor, resistance low temp and high efficiency.Accurate refrigerant which suits for actual load can be controlled by high efficiency screw compressor, it brings great performance of part load.

semi hermetic screw compressors incorporated in the chillers are manufactured by Hanbell Precise Machinery Co. Ltd., Taiwan. Hanbell follows state-of-the-art manufacturing processes which are ISO 9001 certified and use high precision machinery. Hanbell is one of the largest manufactures of such compressors and is widley used in chiilers in Europe including France, Germany and Italy.

Each compressor has capacity control from 25% to 100%, making it suitable for varying load applications and efficient under part load conditions. The capacity control also helps in limiting the starting current.

This is a standard feature on each refrigeration circuit on all Model , Electronic expansion valves ensure stable operation throughout their operating range and precisely control the refrigerant flow through the cooler. The very low pressure losses associated with electronic expansion valve sensures that full operating cost savings can be achieved during cooler seasons when ambient temperatures and condensing pressures are reduced.

The control centre is mounted in the framework of the chiller. It is provided with an advanced microprocessor control panel which has unique features and advantages. All models are equipped with a factory fitted and wired control center mounted on one end of the chiller unit. The cooler outlet temperature can be controlled accurately within a close tolerace of ± 0.5℉, In-built time delays for compressor single / phase reversal protection and anti freeze protection.

Control Center

Highly efficient with low noise levels. Low-noise fans, made of a composite material are even quieter and do not generate intrusive low-frequency noise. Rigid fan mounting is preventing start-up noise. Multiple direct drive dynamically balanced propeller fans operate at low tip speeds for maximum efficiency and minimum noise and vibration.

Lower operating noise

Shell and tube evaporator is extremely efficient. Moreover, they are very compact, requiring only a small footprint and overall height. Maintenance, an important consideration in costs terms, is also fairly straightforward. The shell and tube evaporator has inner grooved copper tubes for better heat transfer. The tubes are designed to optimize for refrigerant and water velocities.

Condenser coils are constructed from copper tubes with spiral grooves on their inside surface to maximize heat transfer efficiency. Aluminum condenser fins have a corrosion resistant and hydrophilic coating to minimize dust and moisture accumulation and ensure a long working life. The fins have rippled and louvered surfaces to improve heat dissipation efficiency.
