Dear Ms. Murnahan,

The previous RSO was Jeremy Robbins. The NEW RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) is Andrew Kimmel.

Currently the company name is Project Engineering Consultants, Ltd. The NEW Company name will be Transportation Municipal Civil Engineering, Inc. The name change will be in effect as of October 1, 2009.

The owners ofTransportation Municipal Civil Engineering, Inc.(TMCE) will be Roger Sorenson and Stephen Lewis. Roger and Stephen were owners in Project Engineering Consultants, Ltd. (PEC). PEC has elected to split off their Idaho operations into a separate corporation. The ownership ofthe Nuclear Gauge has always been with Roger and Stephen and was part of the normal operation of their Idaho office. Due to this, the ownership is not changing hands from those who originally purchased the Nuclear Gauge.

Section 8.10.5 - Occupational Dosimetry

All personnel will wear a personnel monitoring device, such as a TLD badge to measure radiation exposure when using or transporting gauges. The badges shall be exchange at intervals not to exceed 3 months. Dosimetry badges shall be provided by a vendor accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (LVLAP), such as Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc.

Section 8.10.7 - Operating and Emergency Procedures

We will implement and maintain the operating and emergency procedures in Appendix H ofNUREG-1556, Vol. 1, Rev. 1, 'Consolidated Guidance about Materials Licenses: Program-Specific Guidance about Portable Gauge Licenses,' dated November 200 I, and provide copies of these procedures to all gauge users and at each job site.

Section 8.10.8 - Leak Tests

Leak tests will be performed at intervals not to exceed 6 months or other interval specified in the license using an approved kit, such as Troxler Leak Test Kit 3880, in accordance with the kit supplier's instructions. Leak test samples will be analyzed by an organization authorized by the NRC or Agreement State to provide leak test services, such as Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc. (North Carolina license no. 031-0182-1).

Section 8.10.9 - Maintenance

Routine cleaning and lubrication: We will implement and maintain procedures for routine maintenance ofour gauges according to each manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.

Non-routine maintenance or repair operations that require detaching the source or source rod from the gauge: We will send the gauge to the manufacturer or other person authorized by NRC or an Agreement State to perform non-routine maintenance or repair operations that require detaching the source or source rod from the gauge.
