GETTING  STARTED  GUIDE

 DQF  PROJECT  MANAGER  KEY  

 

}  To create projects in DQF, you need a project manager key

}  To view the advanced reports in the TAUS Quality Dashboard, you need a TAUS account for the DQF tools

}  If you already have an account (e.g. as TAUS member or subscriber) you can log in to MY TAUS at https://www.taus.net/login

}  If you don't have a TAUS account yet, you can sign-up for one by following the instructions on the TAUS page.

}  You can also access your account directly from the "Credentials" button in Trados.

}  After you have logged in, you can retrieve your key by clicking on the arrow next to your name and selecting "DQF account".

}  You will be redirected to your Project Manager API key.

}  Copy / Paste your PM key back in Studio

}  Create a new project in SDL Trados Studio

}  Select the project. Right click to see the context menu and select "Add to DQF". Make sure you have a Project Manager key under Credentials.

HINT: Make sure you are in

Project View

}  Select the appropriate settings for the project.

}  If you can see the project settings in the TAUS tab, your project has been successfully created in DQF

}  You can now create a SDL Studio Package for your vendors.

}  To see the Quality Dashboard reports, click on the DQF project ID.

The report becomes available as soon as the translation in SDL Trados Studio is commenced

 DQF  TRANSLATOR  KEY  

 

}  To use DQF while translating, you need a translator key.

}  You can request your credentials directly from the CAT tool (click on "Credentials") by entering your name and email address.

}  The key will be sent to the email address you provided.
