Baker Lake Resort is on the lake, nestled between twoglacier-fed creeks, with a panoramic view of the lake andthe North Cascades. For decades, this rustic resort has drawnfamilies and friends seeking the area’s spectacular hiking,fishing, outdoor activities and solitude.

In 1998, Puget Sound Energy acquired Baker LakeResort. We’ve been carefully renovating the resort’s campsitesand facilities to match its glorious surroundings withoutchanging its relaxed, easygoing character. The groundsembrace 90 wooded or waterfront RV sites, campsites andcabins. Baker Lake Resort also offers the only store in thearea, featuring a convenient selection of groceries, tackleand camping goods. The store is open over Memorial Dayweekend and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Julyand August.

Baker Lake is a reservoir along the Baker River that storeswater for power generation and provides flood control. We arededicated to balancing the lake’s valuable and diverse role asa source of energy and a popular destination for recreationalactivities. Based on varying water levels, boating and fishingare accessible from various launches around the lake.

Nearly 10 miles long, Baker Lake in the summer ispopular for fishing, water-skiing and swimming. Day hikerscan also enjoy the nearby trails that reward you with breath-taking vistas of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan.

Puget Sound Energy also offers other recreation facilitiesaround Baker Lake, that include our private Shuksan lake-front unit, the recently renovated 115 site Kulshan Camp-ground, and the nearby Baker Lake Lodge, ideal for group re-treats and seminars.
