We’ve been carefully renovating the resort’s campsites and facilities to match its glorious surroundings without changing its relaxed, easygoing character. The grounds embrace 90 wooded or waterfront RV sites, campsites and cabins. Baker Lake Resort also offers the only store in the area, featuring a convenient selection of groceries, tackle and camping goods. The store is open over Memorial Day weekend and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through July and August. Baker Lake is a reservoir along the Baker River that stores water for power generation and provides flood control. We are dedicated to balancing the lake’s valuable and diverse role as a source of energy and a popular destination for recreational activities. Based on varying water levels, boating and fishing are accessible from various launches around the lake. Nearly 10 miles long, Baker Lake in the summer is popular for fishing, water-skiing and swimming. Day hikers can also enjoy the nearby trails that reward you with breath- taking vistas of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan. Puget Sound Energy also offers other recreation facilities around Baker Lake, that include our private Shuksan lake- front unit, the recently renovated 115 site Kulshan Camp- ground, and the nearby Baker Lake Lodge, ideal for group re- treats and seminars.
