old temple in Bát Tràng and learnt
more information about it. After
visiting the temple, they went to
Bát Tràng ceramic market, looking
at some of the art works.
Then, they went to the pottery
work shop and learnt how they
make them. After eating lunch at
the restaurant, they learnt from
the potter how to make pots.
When they were finished, they
tried to colour and decorate the
most beautiful patterns that they
wanted. Their work was heated
to make some beautiful cups.

Ba Vì

Mr. and Mrs. Rose were here to help
us understand more about our sci-
ence. He did lots of experiments
with us and explained how this hap-
pened.
He used liquid nitrogen to teach us
about states of matter. He also
made real clouds and put a balloon
on it (we actually saw it float!).
Mr. Phillip make a ‘Big Bang’ by put-
ting dry ice (freezing carbon diox-
ide) in a plastic bottle.
After that, we made our own ice
cream with liquid nitrogen and our
own colour and flavor to make as
creative ice cream as we can.
