think.” When it’s followed by que, it means “to think that …..”

CONOCER AND PERSONAL A
• The verb conocer is used to say you know people or meet them, or that you are familiar with a place of a thing. It is irregular in the yo form.
• The Personal “a”• When a name or a noun referring to a person is the direct object of conocer or
other verbs, the preposition “a” comes before it. This “a” has no translation.

To say what is happening right now, use the present
progressive. To form the present progressive, combine a
conjugated form of estar with the present participle.
Form the present participle by replacing –ar with –ando
and –er and –ir with –iendo.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE
When the stem of an –er or –ir verb ends in a vowel, form the present participle by changing
i to –y.
