We, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed
Virgin Mary, are a beacon on the hill in the heart
of Juneau. We welcome everyone to participate in
our rich Catholic traditions. As a Christian faith
community, we, disciples of Jesus, compassionately
serve in action, in worship,
and through our
relationships.

Catholic Home Missions Appeal
April 27th Many dioceses right here in the United States do not have enough priests and
trained lay ministers to serve their parishes.
These dioceses are known as home missions.
The Catholic Home Missions Appeal will take place this
weekend to support these dioceses by funding essential
ministries, including seminary education and lay ministry
training. Please be generous in this Appeal and share your
resources to strengthen the Church at home.
Life Chain Life Chain Life Chain Life Chain Sponsored by Alaskans for Life, will be held
Saturday, May 10th from 1 to 2pm
along Egan Dr. on the bike path between Fred Meyer
and St. Paul’s Church intersection. Participants will line
up on the bike path from either direction. Signs will be
provided at the sites. The purpose of the Life Chain is to
provide a visual statement of unity by the Christian
community of Juneau that abortion is wrong and the
Church is opposed to the destruction of the life of the
unborn. Please plan on giving one hour to this cause.
For more information call Sid at 789-9858
