This week is Youth Ministry Sunday.
We will be taking up a retiring offering
to help young people attend the
Presbytery Youth Camp, and other
Presbytery youth-related activities
PRAYER MEETING
Every Friday night at 7pm for 1 hour.
We are a House of Praise, but what are we praising God
for?? I would hope that we are praising God for lives
changed, people finding Jesus, growing in their faith and
our community touched with the Gospel in action.
In order for these things to happen, we need to ALSO be a
House of Prayer – God works through our prayers, His Spirit
moves in people’s lives through our prayers and prayer
becomes a hedge of protection around our lives.
Come and pray with us for 1 hour – we need you!!
Every Friday night at 7pm for 1 hour.

The GLS is coming!!! Planning is already underway
for the GLD on 3rd and 4th November.
We need a representative from MLHoP to attend the
planning meetings and co-ordinate from our end. If
you can help, please let David P know as soon as

Word of Thanks –
On behalf of our family, we humbly take this opportunity to
sincerely thank you all for your precious time and prayers by
upholding us while we went through our visa application
hearing in Sydney last week. We are blessed to have
overwhelming support from all at MLHOP which was evident
in the way things transpired in that meeting room. How
powerful! Praise God! We are at peace in knowing that God
is still very much in control. (Devete Family)
We are now just waiting for the outcome and will
advise you all once we hear from the AAT.

The ACC Conference is only 15 days away
now and thanks to all of you for your help and
support in volunteering to cook, we have our
catering roster pretty much worked out.
We still need some helpers in the kitchen for
set up and clean up, especially in the
afternoon but apart from that, we are ready
to host this wonderful conference.
We will also need some drivers for pick
up/drop offs at the airport.
One piece of info that we need to keep in mind!!
Initially, we were told we were catering for 30-
40, however this week we have been told there
are 70 people booked already and they are
expecting maybe 80 as a final figure. Praise God for good attendance – but can we ask
you all to cook double recipes please
