Das Produkt der globalen Multi-Channel Kampagne ist das Aspire Switch 10, ein fl exibles 2-in-1-Gerät, dessen Tastatur sich vom Ta-blet trennen lässt. »Mit dem Switch 10 bedienen wir einen wichtigen Trend im Markt«, erklärt Wilfried Thom. Wir treff en den Region Manager Central Eu-rope, der auch das deutsche Geschäft verantwortet, in Ahrensburg am Sitz der Acer Computer GmbH. Die Kampagnen sind eine wichtige Investition in die Marke Acer, aber auch wertvoll für alle Part-ner: »Wir möchten Nachfrage für unsere Produkte generieren. Deshalb zeigen wir sie an Orten, die sowohl Geschäftsleute als auch Urlauber frequentieren. Als Part-ner sollten Sie das Momentum nutzen, das unsere Kampagnen erzeugen.« Im Herbst wird die Kampagne in deutschen Bal-lungszentren mit weiteren Pro-dukten fortgesetzt.
Großartige Produkte für alle
Der Acer Deutschland Chef hat sichtlich gute Lau-ne und das aus gutem Grund, denn sein Geschäft wächst. »Laut Marktforscher IDC sind wir in den Ka-tegorien ›Portable PC‹ und ›Total PC‹ in Europa deut-lich schneller gewachsen als der Markt«, sagt Thom. In Zahlen bedeutet das ein Plus von 48,4 Prozent bei Notebooks im Vergleich zu 13 Prozent im Bran-chenschnitt und 36,6 Prozent bei ›PC Gesamt‹ im Vergleich zu 15,7 Prozent. Ein großer Teil wurde in Deutschland abgesetzt. »Das ist ein toller Erfolg, für den aber auch unsere Partner verantwortlich sind«, freut sich Thom. Als Erfolgsfaktoren benennt der Manager »das erweiterte Portfolio, die Produktqua-lität, aber auch das überarbeitete Partnerprogramm und unseren Service, der sich neu aufgestellt hat
und damit Durchlaufzeiten und Fehlerraten noch einmal deutlich reduzieren konnte.«
Acer reagiert außerdem mit einer großen Pa-lette an Multi-Modi-Geräten auf neue Kundenbe-dürfnisse. Angefangen von der ausgezeichneten Convertible-Serie Acer Aspire Switch mit bis zu vier verschiedenen Nutzungsmodi bis hin zur Aspire-R-Serie, die sogar bis zu sechs verschiedene Modi bietet. Insbesondere für kleine und mittel-ständische Unternehmen ist die neue Geschäfts-notebook-Serie Extensa der richtige Partner.
Neues Flagschiff der Acer-Produktpalette sind die Tablets Iconia Tab 8 und Tab 10. Durch ein Full-HD-Display und einen leistungsstarken Prozessor sind diese Geräte ideal für Entertainment zu Hause oder
unterwegs. Für diejenigen, die unterwegs arbeiten, bietet Acer das Iconia Tab 8 W inklusive einer ein-jährigen Lizenz für Windows Offi ce 365. Alle drei Tablets haben ein schlankes Design und sind dank Aluminium-Legierung und Corning® Gorilla® Glas besonders robust.

Um den Qualitätsanspruch zu unterstreichen hat Acer im vergangenen Sommer die Vertrauens-garantie »Reliability Promise« ins Leben gerufen. Für registrierte Business-Geräte gilt: Bei Defekt im ersten Jahr repariert der Hersteller nicht nur im Rahmen der Garantie, sondern erstattet auch die Hälfte des Kaufpreises zurück. »Unsere Vertrauens-garantie ist eine echte Erfolgsgeschichte«, erklärt Thom. Immer mehr Partner und Kunden nutzen
das Reliability Promise und Acer erweitert stän-dig in neue Produktkategorien. »Wir sind mit den TravelMate Notebooks gestartet. Inzwischen gilt die Vertrauensgarantie auch für die Veriton PCs, die B6-Monitorfamilie, die P5-Projektorenreihe und die Windows Tablets«, sagt Thom und schiebt nach: »Nicht jeder Hersteller kann sich eine solche Kampagne leisten. Da muss die Qualität schon stimmen.«
DISQ bescheinigt Service-Qualität
Positives Feedback gibt es auch zum Acer Service. DISQ – das Deutsche Institut für Service-Qualität – bescheinigt dem Hersteller gute Noten. Im jüngs-ten Test, einer Befragung von 200 IT-Entscheidern in
mittelständischen Unternehmen mit mehr als 50 Mitarbeitern, belegte Acer mit 85,7 Punkten und dem Ur-teil »sehr gut« in allen befragten Kategorien einen sehr guten dritten Platz von acht getesteten Herstel-lern. »Es zahlt sich eben aus, dass
