About Czech Business ServicesBusiness Services is one of the largest employers in the country and is growing every year as new companies come to appreciate the benefits of setting up their operations in this country. The Czech Republic is the second largest country for Business Services in CEE - and there is strong competition from other countries in this space. The Association of Business Service Leaders in the Czech Republic (ABSL) has formed to give the business services industry a common voice to help shape its environment and destiny.

Katka is Head of ACCA Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary. Katka has been building the ACCA market and brand recognition since the local Prague office has opened in 2003. She is customer focused and builds strong relationships with ACCA stakeholders in CEE. She has been involved in finance professional training and people talent development for over 13 years while working for ATC International and Arthur Andersen. She is a member organization of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development), in the area of HR management.

Since 2008 Tomáš has been Managing Director of the Czech office of Process Solutions. In 2013 he held the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Rep. Previously he was working for international tax advisory firms and as an in-house tax counsel at some large utility companies. His areas of expertise are: leadership and development of a small BPO organization and business development in the area of professional services mainly accounting, payroll and trust services.

From 2004 Adam was involved in creation of captive SSC for Philips in Lodz Poland where later on he held number of leadership positions. In 2007- 2011 Adam worked in Infosys BPO where he was managing European consulting practice - Business Transformation Services. From 2012 he works as Head Operational Excellence at captive SSC of Siemens in Prague. His areas of expertise include: SSC/BPO market, process excellence, project management, outsourcing operations, development of back-office services.

After his studies and foreign experience, Jan joined Ernst & Young Business Advisory team, where he held various positions and worked on various projects over a period of more than 7 years. In 2009, he joined Lifestyle Sports International Group as the CFO and Interim CEO of the Czech legal entity, with the responsibility for the Czech and Slovak market. From August 2011, Jan has worked for Gardner Denver Group as the Director of the SSC, being responsible for establishing and the strategic development of the Group Shared Services Centre.

Ota has been working in the SSC / BPO industry for last 10 years. Since 2011 he has been leading the internal SSC for Accenture in Prague. From 2003 to 2011 he had been working in the BPO area, lastly he was leading Finance & Accounting BPO for Accenture in the Czech Republic. His areas of expertise are: SSC / BPO market and management, finance and accounting, project management and operational excellence.

Jonathan is the Managing Director of ABSL Czech Republic and the Director of the PwC’s Academy in the Czech Republic, supporting Business Services clients across CEE with learning solutions and qualifications. Jonathan has worked with multinationals in finance and training in many parts of the world and PwC now has Academy operations in over 50 countries across the Globe providing clients with the highest levels of learning and business solutions.

Andrea is a senior executive leader with broad experience in business consulting, project management and SW implementation projects. As a Managing Director of SAP BSCE, Andrea is leading business services organization, based in Prague, employing 750+ people and providing administrative and business services to SAP employees and customers globally. Andrea is heading Global Data management (GDM) organization with teams operating in Prague, Germany, US, Singapore and Philippines and covering data management delivery, global data governance, as well as related projects.

Andrea Hepnerová, SAP BSCEJan is Infosys BPO Regional Center Head, responsible for Infosys BPO presence and operations in the Czech Republic. In addition, he drives client relationships and business growth for a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies across Europe, US, and Brazil. He is a member of Infosys Global Management Council. Jan has been with Infosys for 10+ years and has been the founding member of the team that has built Infosys BPO presence in the CEE region. He has managed the first Infosys BPO global operations from the CEE region and subsequently played several operational, sales, and strategic roles in Europe and US.

Petr worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as audit professional, also responsible for developing of audit strategy for companies operating SSCs model. In 2012, Petr has joined CEZ Group accounting SSC as a Director responsible for design of SSC strategy, further increase in efficiency of SSC’s accounting process, scope increase by integrating additional subsidiaries and further integration of accounting process in CEZ group. Another Petr’s responsibilities include development of client service management and efficient quality reporting to internal clients.

Petr Podlipný, ČEZ Korporátní službyRoman is an experienced executive director with a broad experience in finance & accounting, IT, risk & compliance and operations. He is currently leading Global Finance SSC function for global manufacturing company Edwards Ltd, having responsibility for managing centralized finance processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Information Provision&Analysis) and leading over 130 staff in centres based in Czech Republic and South Korea.

Graham Parker-Gore is Head of Customer Service for Citibank Commercial Cards. He is responsible for Citi’s corporate charge card programmes within the CEMEA region. Graham has many years’ experience leading the customer service strategy and operation. Prior to Citibank, he headed up the customer service functions for Volkswagen UK and Visa Europe. Graham is a very strong customer advocate who has developed innovative solutions and strategies within his career. He is not someone who is bound to follow a conventional path to achieve his goals and he strongly believes in the value of breaking down barriers and enabling his people to fulfil their potential.

Jitka Sošková ADP Employer

Jitka Soskova is EMEA VP Client Services for ADP, leading a team of over 700 associates in the CoE in Prague and across Europe. ADP provides Payroll and HCM services for more than 50 multinational clients in EMEA, for whom they run more than 600.000 payslips every month. Before coming to ADP, Jitka gained experience in building and leading HR shared services in Philips, Honeywell, TUI Travel, and others, in regional and global roles.Jitka’s background is in IT, Organizational Behavior and Psychology. Born in Prague, she graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT), where she studied Automated Control Systems. In her professional career, she has been involved in marketing, customer care and crisis management. Between 2000 and 2004, Simona Benešová established a national client centre for the major telecommunication operator, UPC. Previously, she held managerial positions in FMCG and manufacturing. She is the founder of the CC Forum (an association of professionals in the field of call centres) and a sports champion.Since 2005 she works as CEO of the Czech branch of daughter company Air France named BlueLink International CZ, previously known as TEAM TRACKERS. Currently she is responsible also for the “satellite” centres in Bulgaria, and partially on Mauritius and Madagascar.

Karel KučeraCzechInvest

He studied law at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and also the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague. Karel has work experience from several multinational companies, for example, Deutsche Post, Accenture, M. C. TRITON and Česká televize. After 2003, he worked as a consultant and project manager. He has dealt with strategic projects in the areas of finance, business process management and entrepreneurship development. He also worked as an advisor to the top management of various companies, for example, for investors running business in the Czech Republic. On 13 October 2014 he was nominated to be the managing director of Investment and Business Development Agency CzechInvest.

Kateřina Vranovská Comdata Czech

Kateřina’s current position within Comdata Czech a.s. is Country Manager and Chief Operations Officer (COO), including IT and HR area. During her previous roles she has gained experience in Business process outsourcing, Project management, Finance management, HR projects, training and development and with General management of call center. Her main professional achievements are ability to learn different fields of experties and industries, change management, building teams of success and driving of diversity at work.

Monika Šťastná Edwards Lifesciences

Monika has been working with Edwards Lifesciences for over 7 years and in 2010 she was appointed Human Resources Manager responsible for sales and marketing entities in the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia. Since the company took the decision to grow the Czech Republic office as the regional business services center for EMEA, she has had a key role in leading all HR activities and projects in the Czech Republic with the main focus on talent acquisition and development.

David began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in 1993 in Prague, Czech Republic. After becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), he relocated to Zurich and joined Philip Morris Management Corporation in 1998 as an internal auditor, moving to London two years later for a lead auditor position. He moved to Chicago the following year as an appointed audit manager, handling corporate financial audits for Kraft Foods North America.In 2002 David returned to the Czech Republic, joining Johnson & Johnson as shared services and financial director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Responsible for business services for the pharmaceutical, MD&D and consumer sectors, he was involved in finance management and controlling, tax and accounting, and information technologies and operations of this business unit. Claudia Hamm is the Head of Workplace Strategy EMEA for JLL and chair of its Global Workplace Board. In this role she is working with global clients to develop and enhance workplace programs responding to the changing nature of work. She is responsible for the integrated and connected delivery across the region and collaborates closely with leadership in APAC and the Americas to ensure global consistency of approach, continuous sharing of best practice and service excellence across culturally diverse geographies. The CEE research and consultancy team consists of 16 researchers who closely monitor and report on the commercial real estate markets of 6 main country markets: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Serbia . From the Serbian office, JLL also has market coverage of Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia. During 2000-2013, Petr was working with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Prague (2006-2008 in Minneapolis, USA) as financial audit professional. He was primarily responsible for several key accounts operating in the Czech Republic or CEE and reporting under IFRS or US GAAP. Since 2013, after joining Edwards Lifesciences Prague regional office, leads transition of EMEA accounting organization as a Financial Accounting & Reporting Compliance Director. Roman Tesař Lufthansa in Touch

Roman Tesař has worked for Lufthansa his whole professional life. After he graduated from Technical University Brno and Lufthansa School of Business he started his career as the Station and Operation Manager in Prague and then he carried on becoming the Lufthansa Country Sales and Operational Manager in Serbia and Montenegro. János Babos is Partner, Managing Director of Process Solutions (PS).
