Dear MOPS and MOMSnext Moms,

We hope that you are all doing well!The past few days we have been focused

on celebrating our loved ones on

Valentine's Day. Whether you spent time

at your children's class parties,

celebrating with a fun family tradition at

home, or having a romantic night out with

your spouse; we hope that you were

reminded of the love in your life and what

a special person you are! We also want to

take a moment to remind you of the

importance of focusing on the others in

your life that you love. What would we do

without our girlfriends? It seems as

though life just wouldn't be complete or

nearly as fun!

It is important to take time to nurture, grow and invest in friendships - and find

girlfriends who share similar priorities, interests and other qualities. We cannot stress

the value in this. We both find great happiness and rejuvenation each time we invest

in our girlfriends. We encourage all of you to find a little time to spend with a friend,

without children when possible, so that you can support each other and truly be

present for one another.

If you have found that your friendships have changed greatly since having your

children, and you perhaps are searching for some ladies in your life, then you have

definitely come to the right place. MOPS/MOMSnext is a wonderful organization

with moms who are in a similar place in their life that you are in yours. Follow your

Discussion Group Leaders suggestions and get together outside of MOPS, hopefully

without children now and again. It is worth the time and energy. You may soon come

to realize that the woman sitting right next to you needs a friend or shares commoninterests. You can encourage and inspire each other! One great opportunity to get together with friends, and your spouses, will be at ourannual MOPS and POPS Bunco and Silent auction on Saturday April 22nd. This is agreat chance to hang out with existing friends, meet some news ones, and sharewith your spouse how MOPS/MOMSnext has been a part of your life. Take the next few weeks to think of your friends, those new and those from your lifebefore kids. Send a note, a text or find time to call and catch up on each other'slives. Celebrate those friendships and it will surely boost your spirit and those of yourfriends! Blessings to all you dear moms, and more importantly, our girlfriends! Kristen and Stephanie

Delaney Nicole Cox Jimmy and Kristen Cox, along withsiblings Audrey, Braden andCaroline, welcome Delaney to theirfamily She was born on January 24and weighed 7 pounds and was 19inches long. Welcome Delaney!

Parker Lee Faust Chris and Tara Faust, along withsiblings, Jace, Madison, and Dylan,welcome Parker to their family Hewas born on February 18 andweighed 9 pounds, 15 oz. Welcome Parker!




Swap and Drop! Our March 17th meeting will be ourannual Swap and Drop! This is agreat opportunity to get springcleaning underway to make room forsome new clothes, shoes, toys,books, maternity wear etc. This isone of our member's favoritemeetings! MOPS will also be accepting new,packaged diapers as donations forSt. Matthew's S.C.A.T. program.These diapers will be donated tofamilies in need. Tables will be set up and organizedby size or type of item. Please beprepared to neatly arrange youritems on the appropriate table.

MOPS Leadership Tea

Join us on March 3rd anytime between 10-11:30 for our Leadership Tea. Thiscasual event is located in the back nursery with childcare provided. Come havesnacks and talk about becoming a part of our fun and dynamic team. Being a part ofour leadership team is a great way to get more involved in MOPS and strengthenyour relationships with other moms, all while using your gifts to help the group!
