GM Joe Flynn’s MessageDashing through the snow, to the Club we go! The holiday season has arrived and we’re celebrating all throughout Tartan Fields. And because the weather has been so unseasonably warm, we’re still soaking up every last opportunity to enjoy our incredible golf course! So, if you haven’t yet had the chance to sneak in a round, come join us and stop by the Golf Shop for some great steal of a deal items to finish off your holiday gift giving.

‘Tis the season as the month of December is a big one, full of social activity for your family, and we can’t wait to share in the joy with you! We’ve trimmed the tree and we’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mrs. Claus to help decorate cookies and officially light our tree on December 2nd to kick off the official countdown to Christmas. Also, just around the corner are great opportunities to celebrate the season, with and without the kids. We get to show appreciation for our fantastic Membership on December 10th during the (adults only) Member Holiday Party and then celebrate with families of all sizes during our two opportunities during our famous Santa Brunch on December 13th or December 20th, complete with photos alongside the Jolly Elf himself to capture the perfect memories. Plus, we’ll continue our weekly restaurant traditions all season long with Wine & Dine Wednesday, Family Night Thursday and Chef’s Weekend Features. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the Club during this magical season.

Finally, don’t pass up the opportunity to give the best gift of them all and invite someone to Membership at Tartan Fields. Chef Todd’s Culinary Corner

Recipe of the MonthFall is one of our favorite seasons in the

culinary world. Our menu here at Tartan Fields is well represented with the season’s most

flavorful ingredients. One of those being our roasted root vegetables, which we serve as one of

our seasonal side dishes. There are so many different root vegetables from which to choose,

so you can swap out any of ours for your personal favorites. Below is the recipe I use daily

that you can easily recreate in the comfort of your own home.

4 Parsnips2 Turnips

6 Redskin Potatoes4 Rainbow Carrots

1 Sprig Chopped Fresh Rosemary2 Sprigs Chopped Fresh Thyme

1 Tablespoon Chopped Flat leaf Parsley2 Tbsp Olive Oil

(Salt and Pepper to your taste)

Cut all Vegetables into small chunks. Blanch vegetables separately until fork

tender. Toss all ingredients together in a mixing bowl until well coated. Roast on a

lined baking sheet at 350 degrees until golden brown. Serve immediately or

refrigerate for up to one week. Enjoy!!!

The Wine LockerGreetings! We are excited to announce that our next wine

dinner featuring Cakebread Cellars will be on Friday, January 29th at 7:00pm. We will showcase 6 of their award

winning wines to include 2 of there single vineyard cabernets. This will be an event that you won’t want to

miss; reservations will be limited to the first 40 Members, so make sure to reserve your spot today!

The holiday wine tasting was a big success! With over 275 Members and guests in attvenance, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the wine. As a reminder, we will

continue to offer wine to Members at a very special price of wholesale plus 20% with no service charge when you order a minimum of 6 bottles to take home. Even if it is

not on our wine list, as long as it is available in the state of Ohio, Sean can supply it for you! So, if you enjoy wine at

home we can give you a big savings when purchasing wine from the Club!
