ASSEMBLY AWARDS

The students have settled into life at school and have discovered that learning is finding out how to do

something new. Each morning they participate in an Investigation Time where they have access to

many different hands on experiences.

This is giving them many opportunities to discover, role play, think, plan, create, communicate, problem

solve, develop social and emotional skills and so much more.

We have had a busy start to Term 1. Not only are we getting used to our new learning space but new

programs as well. We have been lucky enough to have been chosen to participate in a music program

run by Playford International College. Students are learning flute, trombone, clarinet or trumpet. We are

currently making lots of noise, hopefully we can turn that into music soon!

We also enjoyed participating in the recent Virtual Reality incursion. Some of us felt a bit sick but

enjoyed the experience.

Play dough is always lots of fun to explore!

Picture book inspiration ’We could build one of these.’

The ice cream shop is always busy.
