Coming May 14: The Farmers' Market at River HillCome to the River Hill Garden Center on Saturday, May 14, 9am-1pm, for the grand opening of the Farmers' Market at River Hill. The market will run every Saturday through the first week in November. There will be about 25 producer-only farmers, along with food vendors a juried artists. There will also be live music, chef demos, a children's tent and fitness tent. Volunteers are needed to help with Chef demo bookings, to assist the chefts, and help in the children's tent and booking in the fitness tent. Bryant Woods Elementary PTA Participating in the Clothing to Cash Recycling ProgramBryant Woods Elementary PTA is asking for donations of clothing shoes or linens, new and used. There is a collection box at the school for all donations. Please place items in a plastic bag before dropping them off. The PTA will be paid for every pound they collect. CA’s Dog Day Afternoon returns on May 14

Columbia Association (CA) is excited to announce that it will be hosting

the 10th annual Dog Day Afternoon on Saturday, May 14, with extended

hours this year — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbia DogPark. The park is

located at 5901 Rivendell Lane, off Cedar Lane and adjacent to Cedar

Lane Park, near the Harper’s Choice Village Center. This free event also

will feature local businesses and organizations that focus on the health,

happiness and well-being of our beloved furry friends.

Through April 1, CA is accepting applications from local pet vendors and

nonprofit organizations that benefit dogs. Interested persons should

here for a vendor application. A rain date has been set for Sunday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbia DogPark.
