ABOUT
I am very interested in geometricalshapes and natural forms. I reallyenjoy three dimensional modellingand represent my work in a visuallyappealing fashion regardless of the
medium.
Since I was born in IstanbulI had the opportunity to blendwestern and eastern approachtowards design. I tend toshowcase this advantage in
my creations.

Lean-o-Throne is designed with a concern ofcomfort and ergonomics. It’s edges are angledtowards the user so it makes it feel like it surrounds the user making it ideal for longsitting periods just like a car seat. Back pieceis long enough to dictate the height of an aaverage persons torso and head thereforegiving the advantage of laying down. The middle three parted pieces are given the height that it supports the thighs when satdown with a purpose of making it as smooth
curved as possible to avoid space left between userand the throne. The upper leg part is low to groungwith a height 40 cm and decreases to 25 when movingthrough the back for a relaxed and comfortable sittingposition allowing user to do tasks requiring long timesitting. Also back is 110 degrees angled with the leg partwhich is almost similar to a sunbed that fowhich is almost similar to a sunbed that forces user tolay down. Overall the form is inspired by the backand leg anatomy of a human. Lean-o-throne isconsisted of two main materials which are ironand plywood to keep it simple and smart.
