ProblemLag time in getting FAD investigations and backyard surveillance visits entered into EMRS.

Logistical challenges in getting field VMO or surveillance data entry trained in entering data in EMRS and maintenance of skills.

Transfer of paper forms used in the field for FAD or backyard surveillance requires data entry to interpret what was written and transfer delays entry and matching of messaged results.

Most folks just want a single form to fill out with everything on one page but we need a variety of data to build premises, business, contact, investigation, exam, animals/ groups that are subjects of exam, lab submission, specimens, quarantines, differentials, clinical signs, sample shipping information and test requests.

Requires someone to enter data directly in EMRS, creates lag time.

Solution: EMRS2GO

Offline data entry in form fashion for all information needed for premises, contact, investigation, exam and lab submission.

Ability to accommodate sampling of animals groups such as backyard poultry or individually identified animals such as FAD investigation in cattle.

Upload of data entered directly to EMRS Initial Contact Report.

Automated processing of data entered into Premises, Business, Investigations, Quarantine, Exam, Animal and Groups Subjects, Lab Submission, specimens with no additional data entry.

Allows matching of messaged results with no additional data entry.

Application can be downloaded to a laptop, tablet (windows devices) with local encryption (bit locker). 

Updates to application will be automatically applied as they are released.

Download of reference data the first time takes a few minutes, after initial download is very fast.

• Will be the preferred method for entry of all FAD Investigations.

• Training for most FADD’s will be accomplished thru instructional materials and webinars.

• Will allow us to concentrate EMRS training on those who want to use the full system.

• Will not require FADD’s to be retrained for move to CRM 2016 platform.

• Can be expanded to handle other items such as inspection tasks.

• Planned production release Jan , 2017.
