The economic advantage of reselling or consumingthe electricity produced is not the only advantage of
ENEFCOGEN products. The following points shouldbe considered carefully :
FlexibilityEneftech products have the uniqueability to absorb a variation of about70% of the input heat source. Theseproducts have been specially designedto meet the eld needs and hence
correspond to what is actually found in many plants. The ENEFCOGEN units can therefore adapt to avariable heat source to achieve up to 30% of thenominal power. The electricity and heat productionwill of course vary according to a similar ratio.
ModularityENEFCOGEN units can be paralleled andhence allow an insatllation to grow asrequired. For example, threeENEFCOGENGREEN units of 25kWeparalleled, will deliver 75kWe
(3x25kWe). This allows an installation to bedimensioned for a specic need and then, incase of an increase in energy requirements, to beadapted with additional units. In this case, the
number of units functioning at a given moment mustcorrespond to the energy requirements. In other words, all the units will adapt to the heat source, as individualunits would do.
Low maintenanceThe sealed design of ENEFCOGEN units, and a low number of moving parts haveresulted in a low need for maintenanceand increased lifetime.
Acoustic comfort
Due to their innovative andpowerful technology, the ENEFCOGENunits are silent. This feature allowsan eased implementation of Eneftechproducts, without the need for dedicated
CompactThe ENEFCOGENGREEN is very compact.
It occupies 1 m2 to 2 m2 of oor spacedepending on the model.
100% renewable cogenerationThe ENEFCOGEN unit can be coupledto a heat source whose energy comesfrom the sun or biomass. The electricityand heat produced are hence 100%renewable.
Improving the energy balanceCogeneration allows distributed powerproduction.Using the powerful ENEFCOGEN unitsadapted to the consumers needs, it ispossible to optimize the production of
electricity and heat (see diagram below). The consequent reduction of CO2 allows to furtherimprove the energy index of the building.
Recovery of Waste Heat
The thermal wastes are converted intoelectricty and the energy initially usedto dissipate heat through aerotherms issaved.

Solutions for buildings and oce spaces
CogenerationAn ENEFCOGEN unit allows the generation of
electricity and heat from thermal energy suppliedby a heat source (boiler or heating). The electricityproduced can be consumed in the building orinjected into the electrical grid while the heat isdirectly used for the heating and hot water in thebuilding.
Heating and hot waterThe low temperature heat produced by theENEFCOGEN module can be used in the buildingthrough:- Floor heating ;- Low temperature radiators ;- Fan coil units in heating mode ;- A hot water tank.
Application example
District heating networkFor an installation connected to an urban heating
network, the ENEFCOGEN module can be an add-on orreplace the heat exchanger to provide heat to thebuilding while producing electricity.
Boiler and thermal solarIn a new construction or during a renovation, theENEFCOGEN module may be coupled with :- A biomass boiler ;- A gas or oil boiler ;- Thermal Solar panels ;in order to produce electricity and provide heat tothe building.

Industrial Solution
CogenerationThe ENEFCOGENGREEN products allow the recovery
waste heat. They convert low quality thermal energyinto power energy of high value. The electricityproduced can be consumed at the industrial site orinjected into the electrical grid. Depending on theconguration of the site, the output thermal powercan also be used for heating.
Waste HeatThe waste heat to be recovered can come fromindustrial processes, motors (heat dissipation orheat from exhaust gases), a heat-power couple orany other equipment that generates heat.
Application example
Saving energyHeat rejected from industrial processes or motors
is generally dissipated by aerotherms placed on theroof. The installation of an ENEFCOGEN unit allows therecovery of these thermal residues and also reducesthe energy required for the heaters. The energygain is hence double.
Use of wasted heatThe low temperature heat residue resulting fromthe use of an ENEFCOGEN unit can be used forspace heating or, if necessary, destroyed withaerotherms.

Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) Modular Turbines scrolls
The generation of electricity from thermalsources at low temperatures (below 300C) is
possible thanks to organic uids (refrigerants). The main property of these uids is that theyevaporate at a low temperature. This allowsecient use of heat in low power applications (froman order of a few kW to several MW).The thermodynamic cycle using these refrigerantsis named after its inventor, William J. M. Rankine.
Compressor spirals (or scrolls) are recognized inthe market for their eciency and robustness. The
concept is simple and was patented in 1905 by theFrench engineer Lon Creux. Oering a wide rangeof operational advantages with performances farexceeding those of conventional machines, thetechnological development of these compressorswas quick and successful.Eneftech developed the approach and expertise, allowing the use of these scroll compressors inturbines for the generation of electricity fromlow temperature heat sources (between 120 and200C).
