EnviroBase (20 or 40mm nominal size) (Manufactured from construction and demolition materials, 20 or 40mm) Overview SCE Recycling produces a high quality subbase product from construction and demolition (C&D) materials which would otherwise be destined to landfill, or worse, illegally dumped creating an environmental and physical hazard. C&D material is accepted at our EPA licensed Resource Recovery facilities located at Mayfield and Wollongong. The C&D materials are stockpiled and separated of any unsuitable materials. Once separated it is crushed and screened using the latest equipment producing a 20 or 40mm nominal size well graded roadbase. Prior to sale stockpiled material is also sampled and tested to ensure compliance in accordance with the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2014 - Resource Recovery Order Under Part 9, Clause 93 ‘‘The recovered aggregate order 2014’. Can be supplied to RMS 3051, ARRB SR41 and AUSPEC specifications upon prior request as well as various council and contract specific requirements. Common Applications Road Subbase - Used as a Subbase pavement material in the construction of state highways through to site access roads and driveways. Select/Structural Fills - Suitable for use as high quality easily compactible select/structural fill material with low moisture sensitive properties. Hardstands - Suitable for use in the construction of hardstands requiring high load bearing strength and low shrink swell properties. EnviroBase(20 or 40mm nominal size)(Manufactured from construction and demolition materials, 20 or 40mm)

Overview

SCE Recycling produces a high quality subbase product from construction and demolition (C&D) materials which would otherwise be destined to landfill, or worse, illegally dumped creating an environmental and physical hazard.

Can be supplied to RMS 3051, ARRB SR41 and AUSPEC specifications uponprior request as well as various council and contract specific requirements.

Common Applications

• Road Subbase - Used as a Subbase pavement material in the construction of state highways through to site access roads and driveways.

• Select/Structural Fills - Suitable for use as high quality easily compactible select/structural fill material with low moisture sensitive properties.

• Hardstands - Suitable for use in the construction of hardstands requiring high load bearing strength and low shrink swell properties.

Benefits

Benefits from using recycled materials in roads and other civil works include:

• Protecting stocks of natural resources.

• Protecting the environment from further degradation.

• Potential cost savings.

• Ensuring local industry is working towards international best practice.

• Assisting local government and industry to ensure development is.
