Editor’s Note As mentioned in the previous issues of the
Dispatch we will be looking to e-mail as many copies of the newsletter as possible in the near future. Please contact the lodge with your e-mail information so that we can start building our data base for that purpose. Your e-mail address will not be used for anything else but sending you the monthly Dispatch unless you give specific permission in advance. This way of delivering the news to you will save a lot of money for the lodge and a lot of work for the members of the Dispatch staff. Postage will be going up again soon in 2016 so the sooner we can do this the sooner we can start saving some $ for postage, paper, and toner. Not to mention the time it takes to put it all together. Some copies will be available at the lodge for guests and new members not on the present mailing list. Calendars will be available in the plastic pocket at the main exit door.
Cutoff date for the March edition of the Dispatch is February 19, Due to the short month.
Richard and Theresa Grenier, Dispatch Editors

Lodge Administrator:
As your new administrator I have discovered that there is much to do in this position of responsibility. There are many challenges to work through. I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize and truly thank the former administrator, Steve Sullivan, and my assistant Eileen Acevedo for their tireless help and assistance. Without them my task would have been much more difficult if not impossible. So we should all express our gratitude to them. One area that requires attention is the ongoing need to be profitable. Steps have been taken to address this problem and we should thank everyone involved. The refinancing of our mortgage is well underway and appears promising. This alone will be a great stride forward. The efforts of our staff and volunteers are nothing short of outstanding. Participation is up in the attendance of our meetings and there is a true atmosphere of positivness. We are slowly and carefully making changes in our operating procedures and we feel that the results will be reflective of our efforts. I ask you for your patience and understanding and above all please feel free to volunteer and help us bring this Lodge back to its great potential. Remember you can’t eat the elephant in one big gulp because you will choke, but you can do it if you take one bite at a time. So come out and volunteer and take a bite and help all of us get the work done. I have to make mention of the new flag pole that was donated by Dinah Luper in memory of her late husband Charlie Luper. It is impressive and a fitting tribute to one of our finest and most beloved members. We owe a debt of thanks to the volunteers that installed the pole and flag. They were Larry and Lee Saville, Mark Ruble, Doug Luper, Eddie Lacefield, Sam Rotella, and yours truly Dave Thomas. Pictures of the event can be seen in this issue of the Dispatch.
Be sure to check out our events calendar and join us in all of the activities, great food, and entertainment.
Thanks again Dave Thomas, Administrator
Governor’s Report: No report at this time.

appreciated. We can all breathe a little easier now. *****************
