Hello all. Thank you all for your support of
our WOTM activities in August. Our August
12th dinner was a big hit with roasted chicken,
stuffing, roasted potatoes, Gert’s famous gra-
vy, veggies, salad and dessert. People were
raving that this was the best meal we’ve done
so far! Special thanks to Gert, Donna L.,
Kristal, and all the wonderful helpers!
Our August 28th breakfast featured eggs,
meats, hashbrowns, Danette’s famous waffles, and various fruit
toppings. Thank you to guest chef John Airrington for manning
the egg pans! We always welcome help from our friends, to
paraphrase the Beatles.
In September our dinner will be Chile Colorado, rice, beans,
tortillas and salsa. Please note the date change to September
16th and bring your appetite! Sign up with the bartenders to
make sure we have enough for everyone. I’m sure the bar will
have plenty of Coronas and Tequila to celebrate! Happy Inde-
pendence Day to Mexico!
Also in September, we will have the Second Annual Tracy
WOTM Anniversary luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 24th starting
at 1 pm. We will be reprising our new tradition of celebrating 5
year, 10 year, 15 year, 20 year, 25 year, 30 year, 35 year and 40
year anniversaries with pins of the appropriate year.
Calling all children under age 12 who love Halloween! The
sign up sheet for the Oct. 30th Children’s Halloween party is up
on the bulletin board in the Social Quarters. The deadline to
sign up is SEPT. 26TH! Last year we had a very small but fun
group at the party. However, this year we need to have at
least 15 signed up by the deadline or we will be forced to
cancel the party.
In October, our dinner will be Oct. 14th and by popular demand,
we will repeat the Roasted Chicken dinner with all the fixings.
Sign up early in October to get in on the delicious meal.
Also in October, we are planning a repeat of our famous Luau.
On Saturday, October 29th, dust off your hula skirts and Ha-
waiian shirts and join us for Kenny’s famous Luau food. More
menu details to follow and tickets will be available early Octo-
ber.

Since, the notification regarding the resigning of the Governor was made in June. Alex Zamora submitted his name
for governor and he was running unopposed as of 8/23, so a white ballot
was cast and he has been elected as our new Governor. Please welcome Alex
Zamora as our new Governor for 2016/2017. Any questions or issues,
please talk to your active officers.
