From the Principal… A big thank you to Kelly Bilton for her kind donation of poster paint. It will be really useful in our classrooms!
Soon the days of leaky old concrete tile roofs at our school will be over! I have had confirmation that the remaining buildings in the school with concrete tile roofs will be upgraded with new Colorbond roofs during this year. This includes all the primary classrooms, the hall, the band room, music and Italian rooms- quite a big job!
From Mr Watson… Sport Congratulations to Caitlyn R, Leah W and Olivia N on their selection to represent Warringah Zone against North Shore in Girls soccer. We wish them all the success for the trial competition next week and possible selection to attend the Area Soccer Trials. Swimming Carnival. Congratulations to all students who attended today’s Swimming Carnival. A big ‘thank you’ to all parent and carer helpers and staff who made the day such a success. Well done also to our Sport Leaders for guiding, singing ... and dancing to encourage your team mates along. There were a great number of challenges and fears faced today for many students and regardless of the results, they should be congratulated for their positive and growth mindset. Zone Carnival Competitors who placed top three in the Freestyle 50m finals and top two for all other final events should have received a note to invite them to the Zone Carnival on Monday 4 March. Notes must be returned immediately. Any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact Tony Watson.
