This annual summit program is intended

to provide an opportunity for Floridians

to learn about and exchange information

regarding Business, Education, and Cul-

tural ties between Florida and Japan

through presentations and a networking

reception in a state-wide context. This is

our 12th annual Summit, with past pro-

grams held in Tampa, Delray Beach,

Orlando, Jacksonville, Pensacola, and

Tallahassee.

What is the Southeast U.S./Japan Asso-

ciation?

Established in December 1975, Florida

Delegation, Southeast U.S./Japan Associ-

ation, Inc. is the State’s leading organiza-

tion dedicated to promoting trade, in-

vestment, understanding and friendship

between Japan and the seven member

states of the Association: Alabama, Flori-

da, Georgia, Mississippi, North Caroli-

na, South Carolina, and Tennessee in

the brochure.

The most recent annual SEUS/Japan Joint

Meeting with Japan-USSE Association

and the six other member states was

held Sept 18-20, 2014 in Tokyo. This

year’s 38th Annual Joint Meeting will be

held in Birmingham, Alabama on No-

vember 15-17, 2015. For further details
