Definitie Innovatie

EEN INNOVATIE IS:

- De ontdekking van een fysisch principe of verschijnsel dat uiteindelijk

leidt tot praktisch bruikbare producten of processen (bv. Het

spreekwoordelijke wiel)

- Of de ‘uitvinding/ontwikkeling’ van de technische realisatie van een

bekend fysisch principe (bv. Ottomotor, Elektromotor)

- De introductie van een nieuw product of proces (bv. PC, Ipad)

- Of de vernieuwing of verbetering van een product of proces (bv. auto’s)

Een innovatie is pas geslaagd als het nut bewezen is i.c. het product succesvol op de markt is!
