No partner needed! You will enjoy easy, fun-to-learn and fun-to-do dances. Line Dance is loved by all. When people start dancing, laugh-ter bubbles, hearts are joyful and smiles are found all around. The class will be taught by Public Safety Department staff. Class is limited to only 15 participants.

Volunteer Opportunities Cancer Action Workshop - This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 9:00 - noon at the Gladstone Community Center. Their main goal is to make bed pads for cancer patients. There are many jobs to do and they don’t all involve sewing. Call 423-4086 for more infor-mation.

BOOK CLUB From Book to the Big Screen—Join Luaun Gavin for the The Book Club featuring novels that have been made into movies! What is it about a story that makes people want to see it on film? There will be a meeting at the end of each month for some fun and engaging discus-sion about each book. The Antioch Public Library has some copies of each book in hard copy, e-books and audio. At the Library, tell them you need a book for the Gladstone Parks & Recreation Book Club. There is a $5.00 Book Club fee per month to cover refreshments and room fees.
