TheHP1420SwitchSeriesconsistsofunmanagedGigabitEthernetswitches,forsmallbusinessandotherslookingforplug-and-playbasicLayer2connectivityfortheirnetwork,includinglow-costPoE+and10-Gigabituplinkmodels.

The1420SwitchSeriesincludesfourGigabitswitches.Allhave10/100/1000portsforaffordableGigabitconnectionsusingcopperCat5ecabling.Thereisa16-portRJ45-onlymodel.Thereisa24-portmodelwithtwoSFPGigabitports,idealwherelongdistancesrequirefiber-basedconnections.Another24-portmodelsupportsIEEE802.3atPoE+on12ofitsports,abletoforwardupto30Wpowerontheseportstopoweraccesspoints,IPphones,IPcameras,andotherPoE-enableddevices.Forcost-effectivehigh-speedfiber-basedserverconnections,thereisa24-port10/100/1000switchwithtwoSFP+10-Gigabitports.
