The inception of the company was in the year 1993. During the early 90s, the IT industry in India was in its nascent stage. Enterprise Learning Services (ELS)- This division carries one of the core functions of IIHT. IIHT-ELS aims at providing high-end, cutting edge technology courses to large corporates and working professionals who aim at enhancing their skills and building their careers. Another core function of this division is, to identify and analyze gaps in the skills of the employees and tailor-make courses that would suit to their requirements both in terms of cost-effectiveness and knowledge acquisition in shorter time. This division is into rendering OEM training services through major IT companies like HP, IBM, Oracle and Red Hat. Non-OEM services offer customized products to large corporates which are away from me-too kind of technologies and focused on niche technologies such as software testing, high-end developer tools, data warehousing, ERP, disaster recovery, storage area networks etc. IIHT provides world-class training facilities to corporates and students who get trained at different IIHT training facilities all over India. We have dedicated training facilities for many IT majors who conduct training programs for their employees round the year. IIHT’s training classrooms are set up with simulated labs that provide hands-on practice to students. Because the lab setup varies according to the technology being taught, they are thoroughly tested by technical experts and the trainers before the training commences. Most of our corporate training programs are held in the CBT mode. The trainer is provided the trainer kit that consists of the presentation slides, the study material and other technology related equipments or resources to conduct the session in the most professional manner. At our centres, the ILT mode is adopted at large because of the variety of courses being taught at these centres. Students are however, provided with hands-on training for courses that require such a facility. With a large number of lab sessions, practice questions, case scenarios and illustrations, IIHT has been able to provide value-based training to its students. IIHT’s course material is upgraded and updated on a regular basis in conjunction with industry needs.
