CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Four-Patch BlockCut squares 4½” x 4½” in the corresponding number from the following assorted prints: 4–blue main, 4–pink home, 8–blue flower, 4–pink dot 4–pink stripe, 24–linen shade

Garden Flower BlockUsing the templates provided and referring to quilt photo for fabric placement, cut the following: 4 large flowers from blue main 4 medium flowers from cotton candy shade 4 small flowers from lemon shade 4 stems from turtle shade 24 leaves from green dotAdd a ¼” seam allowance if necessary for your favorite method of appliqué.Cut 4 squares 8½” x 8½” from linen shade

Posts and SashingCut 25 squares 1½” x 1½” from pink dotCut 40 rectangles 1½” x 8½” from aqua marine shade

Border 1Cut 5 strips 5½” x WOF from blue hexi

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics and blocks.

Four-Patch BlockThese instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to quilt photo for fabric placement as each block is a different combination of fabrics. Sew 2 assorted print 4½” squares and 2 linen shade 4½” squares together to make the Four-Patch Block. Repeat to make 12 Four-Patch Blocks.

Garden Flower BlockUse your favorite method of appliqué. Refer to quilt photo for placement of flower, stem, and leaf pieces.

Posts and SashingRefer to the quilt photo for post placement. Sew a 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” pink dot square to a 1½” x 8½” aqua marine shade rectangle. Repeat to make a row with 5 pink dot posts and 4 aqua marine shade rectangles. Repeat to make 5 rows labeled A.

Sashing and Four-Patch Block and Garden Flower BlockRefer to the quilt photo for block placement. Sew a 1½” x 8½” aqua marine shade rectangle to a Four-Patch Block or Garden Flower Block. Repeat to make a row with 5 sashing rectangles and 4 blocks. Repeat to make 4 rows labeled B.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the quilt photo for row placement. Lay out rows A and B. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 37½”. Top and bottom borders should be 47½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the So Happy Together Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
