Withdraw notice or face action,Kangana’s lawyer to Hrithik

MUMBAI, Apr 5:

Accusing Hrithik Roshan ofresorting to deviations and mediatrial as a face-saving tactic, a com-bative Kangana Ranaut todayasked the actor to withdraw hislegal notice to her or face action.

However, the actress is willingto end the matter, if Hrithik with-draws the notice asking her to pub-licly apologise for referring to himas ‘silly ex’, Kangana’s lawyerRizwan Siddiquee said in a state-ment here.

“Withdrawal of notice is thebest and only option. Deviationsand an attempted trial by media asa face-saving tactic, may evenworsen the case as it would eventu-ally create interference in theprocess of delivery of justice andconstrain my client to retaliateunnecessarily,” Siddiquee said.

Hrithik, 42, had in Februarysent a notice to Kangana asking herto hold a press conference and ten-der an apology.

Kangana, in turn, had respond-ed with a 21-page notice, charging

Hrithik with intimidation andthreat.

Siddiquee said Hrithik is yet torespond to the counter legal noticethat they sent to him on March 1.

“His reply cum counter noticereceived by Hrithik Roshan on the1st of March 2016 has not beenacted upon by him within 7 days,and Hrithik Roshan has still notwithdrawn his allegations andclaims, despite the same havingbeen sufficiently proved to beeither lies or absolutely baselessand untenable,” the lawyer said.

Kangana, 29, has not initiatedany action against the actor consid-ering his responsibility as a fatherof two young children, he said.

“...She has therefore not initiat-ed any action against him despiteher emails being hacked andregardless of the fact that he hascriminally intimidated my clientand has also made imputationagainst her chastity, besides issuingunwarranted threats to her,”Siddiquee said.(PTI)
