4204 Fixed SpeedThe ideal microcentrifuge for repetitive routine runs at 12,000rpm (13,030 x g). A 15 minute timer withpre-selector ensures absolute repeatability of the parameters.

4214 Variable SpeedThe most complete and powerful microcentrifuge in the ALC range. The maximum speed of 14,000rpmgives an outstanding 17,746 x g.

Both microcentrifuges are supplied without rotors. ALC, PK110 CentrifugeThe PK110 is a general purpose centrifuge, ideal for small andmedium laboratories. The microprocessor control system has a userfriendly interface with soft touch keys for regulation of speed andtime. Fast or soft acceleration and deceleration can be selected.

The PK120 Universal series is a new generationof technically-advanced, stylish and compactlow-speed centrifuges. Designed for routine andresearch applications, it is the ideal workhorse forthe busy laboratory.

The PK130 Universal series is a range oftechnically advanced, stylish and compact low-speed centrifuges, designed for routine andresearch applications.

Spectrafuge MicrocentrifugeThe new Spectrafuge features a unique, easy access rotor, multi-flow air cooling system and highperformance drive. Two ‘smart’ knobs are used to control all operating parameters, while speed andtime are shown digitally on large displays.

A specially designed air cooling system passes ambient air over both the top and bottom of the rotor aswell as through the motor chamber. The result is a cool running microcentrifuge that keeps samplesclose to ambient temperature, even during extended runs at maximum speed. For samples that requirebelow ambient temperature, the Spectrafuge may be used in a cold room.

The Spectrafuge is supplied with a 24-position angle rotor for microtubes, which is easily removed forcleaning and autoclaving. The unique design of the rotor allows for easy access to the sample tubes. Itaccepts 1.5/2.0ml tubes directly and smaller tubes through the use of accessory adaptors. An optionalStripSpin adaptor ‘snaps’ on top of the rotor for spinning 0.2ml tubes and strips.

Both models feature ‘safety interlock’, whichprevents the lid being opened until the rotor is at rest. Supplied with a 3 year warranty.

An additional safety feature ensures that in the event of power failure the lid remains in the lockedposition. The centrifuge can only be operated if the lid is correctly closed and locked in position.
