Welcome to Exmouth Pavilion

The Technical Stuff

Exmouth Pavilion is an outstanding entertainment venue directly on the seafront in Exmouth. Over the course of the year we have welcomed around 100,000 visitors to everything from Pantomime, touring productions, rock concerts and classical music, dance, Charity and fundraising events, to our free entertainment in the Exmouth Pavilion gardens, and our regular comedy evenings and weekly Cash Bingo!

With the introduction of our NEW LOUNGE BAR we are able to offer you a smaller facility to hold a meeting or more intimate family celebration. This new, larger bar area will also mean that we will be able to open our doors earlier before the shows start in order for you to enjoy a pre-show drink with less queuing and waiting.

From time to time we have concessions available for some shows, including Early Bird incentives and Special Promotions. Please ask at the time of purchasing your tickets if a concession is available to you. We always try to accommodate customers who rely on a wheelchair, however space is limited for some shows, so please advise us at the time of booking if you are a wheelchair user. Wheelchair tickets must be purchased over the telephone or in person at the box office – they cannot be purchased online as we want to ensure we meet your needs. Group bookings of 10 or more people are welcome and may qualify for a discount. Please ask one of our team before you make your booking.

The hall can accommodate up to 575 people seated in theatre style seating or 400 cabaret style or up to 750 people for standing only events. The hall boasts its own bar to provide a totally private setting for your function. We can also hold smaller functions in our Cafe area.

We can also offer raised seating (142 seats) for some of our ‘theatre style’ shows. This will, we hope enhance your audience experience. Fantastic sound and lighting with Projector, White Cyc, Starcloth, Yamaha LS9 32 Channel DigitalDesk, Martin PA rig, Avolite Pearl 2008 lighting desk

and a substantial lighting rig. Backstage offers a disabled dressing room, another dressing room on the ground floor and two further larger dressing rooms on the first floor. All of our dressing rooms are fitted with showers and WC. Additional space is available in the basement for make-up/wardrobe or as an additional room. For more in depth details please either go to our website www.exmouthpavilion.co.uk or please feel free to call Exmouth Pavilion and have a chat to our Technical Manager.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, except in the event of the show’s cancellation. However, if a performance is SOLD OUT, we will try to re-sell your tickets on your behalf. This will be subject to an administration fee.

With a thriving programme of dance and fitness classes, craft fairs and fetes, we are also able to offer you our fabulous venue for private functions such as weddings, conferences, meetings and private parties.

The Café and Bar is open every day from 9am if you would like to just stop for a coffee and a cake, we can also offer light snacks and main meals, and you are able to book a pre-show table for dinner and receive 10% off your food bill, all of which is top quality local produce. Friendly dogs are also welcome. Directly opposite is the private car park where you are able to park for free when using our facilities, we have excellent disabled level access too.

There is always a great deal going on at the Exmouth Pavilion. For exclusive offers and news as it happens, check the website: www.ledtickets.co.uk or join our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/Exmouth Pavilion

Centre Stage presents ‘Hired Man’Wed 26th – Fri 28th August | 7.30pm

Based on Melvyn Bragg’s stirring novel of Cumbrian rural and industrial working life, set in the first quarter of the twentieth century, The Hired Man tells the true story of one family’s - Bragg’s grandparents’ -journey from land labourers to colliers and back to the land. Set against the background of working class ritual-whippet racing, hiring fairs, hunting, drinking bouts, union meetings- the musical brings alive that cavalcade of British history which swept us into a new century and a war to end all wars. Howard Goodall’s superb score is strong in the British choral tradition- a marvellous succession of chorales, operatic duets and vigorous foot-stomping rhythms.
