Prayers for the Richardson family on the loss of Billy, the son of the Bill Richardson and the late Elaine Richardson. Billy passed away on Friday April 24th. His children are Kelsey and Lucas. His sister is Jennifer and his brother is Robert.

Matthew 25 Ministries: As a new mission project, we will be collecting empty pill bottles. Both prescription and over-the-counter bottles of any size are acceptable, as well we those with or without child-resistant caps. These pill bottles are then sent with medical supplies to developing countries and used to distribute pills to the people in need of medicine. Bottles that cannot be used are recycled. If you are able, please remove the labels from the bottles prior to donating them. There is a box on the mission table in the top lobby for donations. Bethel Family Updates: - Benita Adams had two falls at home a couple days ago and was hospitalized in Pottstown with pnemonia. - I visited Bob McKissick in his home today as he is now in hospice care haven refused treatment for a circulatory condition. At 88, he says he has complete peace about his decision. His daughter Laurie Hasselhan noted that he would appreciate cards. His address is 320 Porter's Mill Road, Pottstown 19465. - Russell Bush was admitted to Pottstown Hospital Monday afternoon and is expected to come home in a day or two.- Ruth Peterman passed away on Thursday April 23rd. She has been living at Willow Valley for several years. Burial will be at Bethel at a time to be determined later.

A Note From Pastor Hines: Bethel,Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! By God's amazing Grace we continue to be the Church, in ministry and mission. There are countless acts of kindness and words of comfort shared by EVERYONE. I have received protective masks, some handmade by Bethel Missionaries. Tasty dishes have been shared generously. God is good, all the time, even in this season of distress and grief.We plan our next Finance and Council meeting via Zoom on Wednesday May 13th 6 30 and 7 30. You will receive an update from our Chair of Finance Val Romberg, shortly.As we are coping in this country during the Coronavirus War, we are healing as well as mourning losses of loved ones and we are missing life as we have known it, let's also share a smile together as well.
