The perfect kitchen full replacement or kitchen facelift?

Many people ask me whether they would be better off going for a full replacement kitchen or having a com-plete kitchen facelift.

TWELVE months of fund-raising for Trinity Hospice by Twelve Restaurant & Lounge Bar came to a triumphant climax! The Fylde coast restaurant presented a cheque for 8,000 to the charity the total amount raised at events staged throughout 2010/11 to celebrate Twelves 10th anniversary. At the hand-over celebration party, Caroline Upton, Front of House Proprietor at Twelve, paid tribute to the generous support of customers, business partners and members of staff who had all contributed to the campaign. She said: I would like to thank our customers none of this would have been possible without them. I would also like to thank local businesses which have given us raffle prizes or supported us in

other ways. Weve also greatly appreciated the help and assis-tance from the fund-raising team at Trinity Hospice. Throughout the year, weve had some great times and share memories that will stay with us for a long time! Fund-raising for Trinity included taking part in the Blackpool Fun Run as well as organising lots of events including a kids cookery demonstration, a trip to Cartmel Races, an amateur chefs cook-off

competition in conjunction with BBC Radio Lancashire, and the final celebration party featuring a hog roast and entertainment by the Ian Hooper Band. IF EWE LIKE ANIMALS EWELL LOVE FARMER PARRS! Farmer Parrs Animal World has a large selection of farm and rare breed animals, plus daily hands-on shows, petting, feeding, tractor rides and pony rides. As well as a large museum, pottery, play areas, cafe and shop. With large indoor barns as well as paddocks its a great day out whatever the weather so why not venture down to the farm this Easter! The Easter Vintage Rally is also back by popular demand.... so there is something for all ages over Easter Weekend! The rally means there will be all the usual

farm-yard fun plus many vintage vehicles of all shapes and sizes plus trade and craft stalls. The vehicles/exhibits are brought from far and wide by enthusiasts and were a huge hit with all ages last year. If you come down to the beach youre sure of a surprise! The next phase of construction is starting on the beach at Cleveleys for the next phase of works to lay the cable for the Walney Offshore Windfarm. A steel pipe will be laid in a trench across North Promenade from Thornton Gate, across the promenade walkway and sea walls and down the beach, through which the plastic ducts will be pulled that will also extend to low water mark. This will complete the route for the submarine cable to be connected to shore, when it arrives in Cleveleys in mid May. The works to cross the sea wall will require a cofferdam to be built, and so the footpath will be closed to pedestrians. Traffic management will be in place at key points of the project but vehicle access to

Rossall Promenade will be maintained. The barge will berth on the beach near Rossall Promenade for about a week when it arrives to deliver the cable to land. It will be pulled off the ship and back through the ducts where it is then joined to the land cable on Thornton Gate. Its a once in a life time opportunity to see this kind of project happening, right on out very own beach, so get your cameras ready!
