What is Parallel Structure?
Parallel structure means using the same pattern of words to show that two or more ideas have the same level of importance.
Ex: Mary likes hiking, swimming, and bicycling.
Example

Parallel: Ellen likes hiking, attending the rodeo,
and taking afternoon naps.
