Abridged Conditions of Play 1. Each player must be a financial member of a registered Golf Club and have a current Golf Australia Handicap.
2. Each player must be a financial member of a Veteran’s or Lady Veteran’s Golf Club.
3. Playing Handicaps for each round on each course will be the player’s GA handicap on the day or days designated by the Match Committee,
adjusted for Slope. If the Match Committee provides score cards with a Daily Playing Handicap recorded, that handicap is deemed to be the
player’s Daily Playing Handicap for that round.
4. Grades for each event will be allocated based on the player’s GA Handicap or Daily Playing Handicap applicable on the day or days
determined by the Match Committees for each of the separate events that make up the Wintersun Carnival. For each of the multi-
round events, the grade allocated for Round 1 of that event will be retained by the player for the remaining rounds of that event, but
may be different from the grade allocated for another event.
5. Handicap ranges for Grade allocation will depend on nominations, with a view to attempting to even out numbers in each grade.
6. The Rules of Golf shall apply and any local rules that are in operation at the time of the round.
7. A player can win only one major trophy at each 18 or 36 hole event. The 72 hole championship is a separate event and does not affect/is not
affected by trophy allocations for the other events.
8. Nominations close FRIDAY 27th JULY 2018. All Fees must be PAID WITH ENTRY FORM. No Fees can be REFUNDED after FRIDAY
27th July 2018.
NOTE: At both Proserpine & Mackay, players will be drawn in the morning session (tee-off approx 6:30 am to 8:30 am) for one round and
in the afternoon session (tee-off approx 11:00 am to12:30 pm) for the other round unless otherwise decided by the Tournament Committee.
