Points for Discussion - IT Empowerment Year 2013
It is an year long campaign for promotion of IT and e-Services not only within Government but among Citizens also.
All the withheld or delayed IT/eGov. project will be reviewed at higher level and necessary decisions will be made quickly. (like Food Coupon, Excise Dept, IGRS, etc.)
Implementation of all the running IT/eGov. projects will expedited.
Targets and periodic benchmarks will be set for all the IT/eGov Projects for year 2013
New IT/eGov initiatives will be promoted, facilitated and rewarded in 2013.
Successful IT/eGov initiatives will be replicated in other areas.
All the departments and govt. agencies will come up with their IT Plans and make necessary provisions for same in the state budget 2013-14.
State Level IT/eGov Plan will be prepared for the year 2013.

State IT Plan will be administered by State Apex Committee for IT and implemented by all the departments.
All the BIG IT projects, Common IT infrastructure services, activities of mass interaction using IT and general CB & Awareness generation activites will be taken up in state IT Plan.
All the departments including IT department, districts administration, all Govt. agencies will prepare their own IT Plan in concurrence with State IT Plan.
All the IT Plans will be submitted to State Apex Committee in pre-defined format for review.
IT Department will facilitate State Apex Committee for IT Plan related work.
