Structure and practice areas of the Intellectual Property department

Our Intellectual Property department was created in 1998 by Delphine Brunet-Stoclet. It is now led by Delphine Brunet-Stoclet, a Specialist in intellectual property law at the Paris bar, and Maria Luisa Arce-Torrecilla, a European trademark and design attorney, assisted by Emilie Sullo and Marie André-Nivet, associates.

Our assistance involves taking action right from the creation of intellectual property rights, to conducting availability searches, monitoring rights, carrying out audits and due diligence.

In addition, we negotiate and draft licence agreements for trademarks, designs & models, patents, copyright and other intellectual property Intellectual property litigation, strategies, advice, assistance and defence before courts

What is your field of practice at SBKG?

“I deal with intellectual property issues, with a particular focus on strategic protection and defence of trademarks, designs & models, domain names as well as in managing intellectual property rights portfolios.

What is your added value to SBKG?

“I was a trademark and designs attorney in two major patent and trademark attorney law firms in Paris. I gained a wealth of advisory experience in this field which is perfectly complementary to intellectual property litigation, Delphine’s main field of focus. The synergy arising from our collaboration is an added-value for the clients who entrust us with the management of their intellectual property assets.”

Is the Intellectual Property department of SBKG your own private reserve?

“Having created this department in 1998, I am particularly attached to it. My team and I are partners with our clients, we have grown with them. As a result of our developed synergy with Maria Luisa and her valuable prosecution expertise, they’ll now benefit further from our assets ”   Are you very active in the intellectual property field?

“Indeed, in addition to awareness and prevention campaigns on intellectual property provided to our clients, their associations or federations, I am also an active member of major associations in this field: APRAM (Association of Practitioners in Trademark and Design Law), INTA (International Trademark Association).”
