With two veterinary hospitals, one for large animals and one for small animals, there are numerous specialty services and programs available that are an important part of our students’ educational experience as well as for the animal patients who walk through our doors.

SUPPORT CLINICAL DISCOVERIES

A gift, at any level, in support of clinical discoveries provides the necessary funding to ensure residents and faculty can fully explore important questions, provide potentially life-saving clinical trials and publish their findings in national scientific journals. Some of the conditions our faculty and residents are exploring include arthritis, allergic dermatitis, dilated cardiomyopathy, glaucoma and cancer. Conditions that affect both animals and humans.

Academia is where important questions are asked, methods are appropriately tested and new therapies and techniques are developed. A donation to support clinical discoveries enables our faculty to continue that search for knowledge and possible cures which may ultimately apply to human conditions as well.

Our faculty members deliver a wealth of knowledge to veterinary students in the classrooms and the clinics. Exemplified by world-class scholarship and instruction, endowed professorships and chairs are among the most significant awards conferred to faculty. Much needed faculty support helps uncover discoveries that make life better for all of our animal friends.

Endowed professorships are fundamental to the college. A gift in support of professors enables educators to pursue critical projects at the forefront of their fields and attracts world-class faculty.
