World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Ingredients Needed
• ½ cup of butter (softened to room temperature)• ½ cup of brown sugar• 1/3 cup of granulated sugar• 1 egg• 2 tsp vanilla extract
Ingredients, Cont.
• 1 ½ cup of all purpose flour• 2 tsps. Corn starch • 1 tsp of baking soda• ¼ tsp of salt• 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Materials Needed
• Oven• Stand-up mixer with paddle attachment• Cookie sheet• Wax paper
Steps to Making Cookies
1. Cream together softened butter and sugar in bowl of stand-up mixer, using the paddle attachment on medium-high speed for 3 minutes.
2. Add egg and vanilla, mix until combined for 1 minute.3. Add in flour, corn starch, baking soda and salt. Beat on
medium-low until combined. 4. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.

• Place cookie dough in refrigerator for 20 minutes• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees• Place wax paper onto cookie sheet• Once cookies are out of refrigerator, use a small ice cream
scoop to place cookie dough onto wax paper, 2 inches apart
• Bake for 10-12 minutes
Steps to Making Cookies, Cont.
• Cool cookies on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes• Serve immediately, or store in a sealed container for up to
one week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. • *Cookies may look slightly undercooked when taking them
out of the oven.
