No. 1 Gonzaga (24-0, 12-0 WCC) may put an unbeaten season on the line against longtime rival No. 20 Saint Mary’s (21-2, 11-1 WCC) Saturday, February 11 at McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, Calif. H Two #WCChoops programs - No. 1/1 Gonzaga and No. 20/20 Saint Mary’s - are ranked in the top-25 of both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls for the 14th consecutive week. The WCC is one of eight conferences with multiple top-25 teams. H #WCChoops owns a 2016-17 non-conference record of 78-44 (.639). The complete breakdown of non-conference records vs. opposing con- ferences is listed on page three. H The WCC ranks in the national top-10 in the following categories: 3-point field goal percentage (6th/36.36) and field goal percentage (7th/45.24). H Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge ranks third among active career Divi- sion I scoring leaders (2,172). Gonzaga’s Jordan Mathews (53rd/1,455) also cracks the top-60. Brownridge also ranks ninth in 3-point field goals per game (3.02/365), while BYU’s Nick Emery is 34th (2.58/151). H Saint Mary’s junior guard Emmett Naar ranks 13th nationally among active career assists leaders (5.34) and is 13th among 3-point field goal per- centage leaders (43.7), joining teammate Calvin Hermanson (40th/41.9) in long distance accuracy. SMC’s Joe Rahon (11th/5.62), LMU’s Brandon Brown (17th/5.19) and Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss (23rd/5.04) all appear in the career active assists top-25. H Naar (16th/470) and Pepperdine’s Jeremy Major (19th/463) own spots in the top-20 for career assists. Williams-Goss is 30th in assists (428). Major (37th/148) is in the top-40 in steals. Week Two Gonzaga achieved a No. 1 ranking in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls for the second time in program history (2013) January 30, 2017. No. 1/1 Gonzaga Runs Streak to 24 Gonzaga secured the longest winning streak in program history, pushing its unbeaten start to 24-0 with a 90-55 win vs. Santa Clara on Saturday. The Zags are the only unbeaten Division I team remaining in 2016-17. San Francisco owns the WCC’s best single-season start, posting a 29-0 slate in 1955-56 en route to its second consecutive NCAA title and an overall winning streak of 60 games. The Dons also opened the 1976-77 season on a 29-0 run before suffering their first loss. Brownridge Bronco WCC 2K Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge continues to climb the West Coast Con- ference career scoring charts. The 11th player in league history to surpass 2,000 career points, Brownridge now has 2,172, good for fifth place on the career list and is the all-time leader in WCC games with 1,195 points.

WCC Signs Orleans Arena Extension TheWestCoastConferenceandBoydGaminghaveannouncedathree-yearcontractextensionthatwillkeeptheWestCoastConferenceMen’sandWomen’sBasketballChampionshipsatOrle-ansArenainLasVegasthrough2019.
