The RVNLs precast elements are available at

Kadambattur. The approximate lead from

Kadambattur to the worksite will be maximum of

15 Kms. (approximately) and average of 6 Kms byroad.

2 Loading, leading, unloading and

launching of 6.1m span PSC slab using

crane of 30T capacity and

transporting the same by Contractors

trailer including short leading from

any location in Tiruchchirappalli

Division to Br No. 161 near Manavur.

Query: As specified and stated in

BOQ, transportation of 6.1m span PSC

slab will be available on

Tiruchchirappalli Division to BridgeNo. 161 near Manavur. Request you

to kindly confirm the lead from yard

to workspot.

The 6.1m PSC Span Slab will be available at Golden

Rock Workshop at Tiruchchirappalli and the

approximate lead from the place of material to the

place of worksite at Manavur is around 370 Kms. by

road.

3. As per the Clause 2.2.2, the minimum

average construction turnover is INR

44.3 Crores. In this regard, we would

like to put forth our required point,

The existing condition holds good and no

amendment is warranted.

Hence we kindly request to consider

and make necessary amendments to

the Clause 2.2.2 as per Railways. This

will benefit RVNL by getting more

competitive bidders.

4. Amended Rule 7 to Tamil Nadu Minor

Mineral Concession Rules, 1969

The participants in the Prebid meeting were

informed about the Amended Rule 7 to Tamil Nadu

Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959 to collect

the cost of the minerals used for bona fide

Government purpose apart from seigniorage fee as

per Industries (MMC2) Department G.O. (D) No. 89

dated02.07.2013 (copy attached as Annexure I tothis Minutes of the Prebid Meeting). The bidders

are advised to include the cost of minerals to be

paid to State Government in their bid in addition to

seigniorage charges.

5. Any further queries in the bid

document

The bidders were advised to send any further query

regarding the bid document as per Clause No. 7.1

of the Instruction to Bidders Section 1 Volume I

of the bid document in order to send clarification to

their queries in time.
