ROSARY For the month of May, we will have a Rosary before all the Sunday masses at 9:30 am.

DEACON PATRICK MAY Deacon Patrick will be finishing his time with us in the first part of June. We have been blessed by his service to us over this past year. We would like to gather a gift for him so that he might visit the Holy Land during his final year of seminary. If you would like to contribute to this please make out a check to Nativity of Our Lady and memo it “Deacon Patrick” and we will present him with a single check for this purpose. Deacon Patrick’s last weekend at NOL will be June 2 and 3. His last week-end at SFX will be June 9 and 10.

Baby Bottles Baby Bottles are in for donation collections for Skylark (formerly known as CareNet). Please take a bottle and fill it with monetary donations. Return the bottles on Father’s Day with your collections. This helps parents of unplanned pregnancies.

To the Parishioners of St. Francis Xavier, Nativity of Our Lady, and all Stu-dents and Staff at SFX Catholic School, THANK YOU! As my time in Brunswick comes to an end, I praise and thank God for the opportunity to be with y’all during my pastoral assignment. I am grateful for the many blessings and wonderful experiences of getting to know, pray with, and grow in faith with this community. I am humbled by the hospitality and genuine love that y’all have giv-en me. This experience has truly been a gift and the Lord has strengthened and confirmed His desire in my heart to serve the Diocese of Savannah as His priest in the near future. I could not begin to explain how much I’ve learned from you and the ways that the Lord has been so generous to me through this journey. In a particular way, I want to thank Fr. Tim, Fr. Chris, Deacon Lar-ry, Dr. Mermann, Mrs. Marisol, the wonderful 8th Grade Students, and all the Parish and School Faculty and Staff. All of the hard work that each of you contributes to this community is reflected in ways seen and unseen, that make this environment of faith a place to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank you for your patience and mercy toward me. This summer, I will spend some time in Augusta with my family be-fore returning to Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in the Fall for my last year of seminary formation. Lord willing, I will be ordained to the priesthood in June 2019 and return to the Diocese of Savannah for priestly ministry. May the Lord Jesus bless each of you and please know that you will remain in my prayers. I will always cherish these memories and l look for-ward to the next time when I am able to come and visit! My last weekend at Nativity of Our Lady will be June 2 & 3. My last weekend at St. Francis Xavier will be June 9 & 10. I would love to hear from you. Please, stay in touch! Rev. Mr. Patrick May 3150 Donald Road Augusta, GA 30909 [email protected] Please, pray for me. All for Jesus and Mary, Deacon Patrick May

THE NIFTY KNITTERS will not meet this week on Wednesday, (May 23) but will resume the fol-lowing week.

As Catholics, we celebrate the sacrament of mar-riage. In these times, it seems harder and harder to find young couples that stay together. Let’s share the celebration of marriage by sharing our wedding anniversaries to be an example of God’s love to eve-

ryone. Please contact the office with your name, date of anniversary, and how many years married if you’d like to share, and we will post them in the bulletin on the week of
