What is next…?

Those pictures were just a summary of 5 courses which will be ongoing for 3 months.

Besides basic skills courses, they will be taught about designing and basic marketing.

Before the end of the training, we will organize a “picnic and auction” day in Nawung, where all our marketing contacts will be invited so that the community can have a direct contact with potential buyers.

Depending on the skills developed by the community, we will start assisting them in marketing.

Different ways are possible :-Berhingarjo market, -shops like Mirota Batik, -handicraft association (Asmindo)-local fairs (JEC-Jogja)-medium and high quality fair (Jogja fair

for international buyers)-creating ads in local newspapers-deposit stock in some chosen

restaurants-having their own shop on the main road

between Jogja and Solo-getting sponsored on websites by local

medium and big furniture and handicraft companies

-on a medium term, we can even think about opening shops in association with an NGO (ASB or other) in western countries
